No amount of praise is enough for our experience with Aman I Khas. Right from the get go of a lovely welcome to all the way to check out, we couldn't have asked for anything that would enhance our stay more. The level of thought in detail to anything and everything in this hotel is truly commendable. Given that you are essentially living in a jungle, the property at any given time was absolutely immaculate! And its not just the general hotel aesthetics that make for a great stay, the level of service by all staff members is its biggest asset. Having travelled a fair amount all over both in India and abroad, we haven't yet come across such an incredible level of service. Anything you want, Aman makes it happen. So strap on your adventure boots and get lost in a rustic yet modern jungle setting equipped with all the right designs and furniture to make you feel like you are on a month long luxury safari.

We loved Aman-I-Khas - it ranks as one of our best hospitality experiences in India. To begin with, the property itself is nice and simple, not overly manicured with an easy-to-follow layout. The tents look simple but are thoughtfully designed and very stylishly done. They are huge, and unconventional. We loved the warm TOTO WC (perfect for the cold weather!) and the heating was discreet and effective. The leather upholstered day bed was just lovely and the multiple layers of curtains added to the sense of coziness and privacy (one did not miss the absence of a lock or doorbell). All the amenities were beautifully designed and nice to use. Coming to the service, it’s hard to beat a personal butler and Kamlesh (KC) was the best one could ask for. He did everything for us and made us feel completely at home. We were on our honeymoon and the team did many things to make our stay even more special, including private candle-lit dinners and surprise refreshments at the fort. Even for the safaris that we booked through another company, we were given blankets and a basket of cookies, snacks and tea. They really went above and beyond. The food was great every single time. There was a lot of variety, especially given that they have an all-meals inclusive plan. We did not feel bored of the food or the property for even a second in our three night long visit. We are totally sold on the Aman experience and highly recommend the property to anyone visiting Ranthambore - especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion.

If I had to rate our stay at Aman-i-Khas out of 10, I would give it an 11 because everyone there is willing to go above and beyond what is expected to make their guests feel like family. The manager Mr.Anand, takes time to get to know his guests and engage in real conversations which show that he is genuinely interested in his guests and wants to make then feel welcomed. The deputy manager, was there to welcome us on our arrival and briefed us about the property, their sustainable practices and introduced us to the entire staff including our batman, Mr.Rakesh. Rakesh was the most wonderful batman and companion that we could have had during our stay there. He anticipated all our needs and was always enthusiastic about finding ways to make our stay more relaxing. He helped us explore the property and we met the goats, chickens and Fortuner - their rescued donkey. He also showed us their organic vegetable farm, woodshop, the candle making workshop, a barbershop under a tree and a cute corner for making laakh bangles. While everyone there is extremely friendly and attentive, it is Mr.Rakesh and his extremely hospitable nature that would tempt us to go back to Aman-i-Khas. It is fascinating to see how such a beautiful property was built from scratch and every tree was planted only about 15 years ago. We interacted with the gardeners and they seemed extremely motivated towards their work. Mr.Rakesh also arranged the jungle safari for us where our guide Mr.Pradeep was extremely informative and answered all our questions about the wildlife with the utmost precision. He and our jeep driver were quick to react to animal calls and anticipate the movements of the animals. They helped us spot the majestic tigress Riddhi who walked right in front of our jeep as we watched her mark her territory during her morning stroll. The hotel even packed some hot beverages keeping in mind individual preferences for different kinds of teas and some bakery products to munch on during the very engaging safari experience. We were there to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary and had requested the assistant manager and Rakesh to help me plan a special surprise for them. A special arrangement was made for a surprise candlelit dinner at the lakeside along with decorating our tent with beautiful marigold and rose flowers felt like something out of a fairytale. The executive chef, Mr.Santosh Yadav, fulfilled all our cravings with specially curated meals throughout our stay which included but were not limited to traditional Rajasthani dishes like laal maas, pitod ki sabji, sev tamatar, papad mangodi to name a few. He even baked a special cake for my parents which was divine. We especially loved a couple of dishes and the chef was kind enough to send us his recipes. In totality, we have never had such a perfect experience anywhere in the world and would not only love to go back to aman-i-khas but also consider becoming aman junkies.
