A very large room with ensuite air conditioning, fans, fridge and TV Friendly staff who are great at coordinating with the safari guides Lovely grounds and a relaxed setting which includes a pool and shop
The property is lovely and very clean. There are peacocks that visit in the mornings and monkeys that drop by in the afternoons. The staff is friendly and well informed. The food was good too - a good variety and not too spicy. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Plus they were very helpful with the safari bookings as well.
With a tour group, this resort not the first option of the tour company we were with. First impressions were very positive - lovely grounds, large inviting pool, clean and immaculate foyer area, the villas surrounding the central grassed area, very appealing. However, lunch on the first day was difficult. No one spoke English, which was the only language our group spoke, except of course, for our guide. This was no-one's fault, except for management who had taken our booking, knowing full well that this was an international group of tourists. Eventually, a member of staff took over and whilst his English was minimal he was fantastic in taking orders over the next two days, ensuring food ordered was tabled correctly. The food presented on our two day stay was very good and after the initial communication problems, the service was more than acceptable. Accommodation wise, we had a villa which was spacious. However, we had to be moved to a nearby villa because the air-conditioning didn't work. Our alternative villa's air-conditioning was so loud that we couldn't use it and after dinner and an enjoyable musical performance by a local Indian group on the central lawn area, we could not get back into our villa until after 11 pm due to our key card being inoperable to open our door. Whilst our villa was serviced we ran out of toilet paper. WiFi didn't work in either villa even though we went to reception for help. Other guests had issues with water ie. lack of, poor pressure, lukewarm. In summary, I felt that this resort had potential to cater for international tourists but needed to address issues of communication and maintenance. Obviously, locals and internal tourists would not have a problem at the resort.…
Fabulous hotel and park. Feels very old Raj. Very welcoming with excellent facilities. The park safari is outstanding, pity we didn't see any tigers. The staff and safari guides were wonderful. Visit the shop, they will tailor make whatever you what.
