Santorini Twin Waters Resort on Mudjimba Beach is a favourite for families, sporting groups and romantic escapes. The Mudjimba surf patrolled beach is on your doorstep and the parkland opposite comes complete with barbecues, shaded picnic areas and children’s playground. The beach captures the very essence of what makes the Sunshine Coast so special; with golden sands stretching as far as the eye can see. We are located at Mudjimba Beach between Twin Waters & Marcoola, and 5 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport, in a quiet beachside setting on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. This four star resort offers you the opportunity to get away from it all. You can do as much or as little as your heart desires. Come and experience Mudjimba, the way the beach used to be. The resort is a non-smoking facility.

Santorini was exceptional for our recent 5 night stay. Efficient and pleasant Judi gave us a fantastic deal, better than Online Site. Designated basement car parking. An elevator and excellent security. We had an ocean view and the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 car park Apartment was huge and very well appointed and spotless. We loved the large terrace with a great ocean view. Linens and towels supplied, Free Wifi and a good TV. Had Ceiling fans and was Air-conditioned, which would be needed in Summer as it is a Sun-Trap, but the wide opening doors to Terrace and many opening windows gave excellent air flow. The Laundry was the best I have ever had in a Holiday Rental. Perfection. Cupboards, bench, Washer and separate dryer. Buckets, airer and pegs supplied, a deep porcelain sink.
Compact kitchen, big double door frig, dishwasher and abundance of crockery, cutlery and gizmos. Master Bathroom Suite had Walk thru wardrobe to large bathroom with jacuzzi too.
Downstairs the Strip teemed with fantastic shops. An Italian Restaurant, Fish and Chips/ Hamburger Shop, Coffee Shop, Nextra/Grocery Store which in fact seemed to sell everything. A Life-Saving Club across the road, as is the beautiful Beach and a Play Park. We were impressed by the quiet. No cars hooning around or noise from the many Eateries, at night, though they were always popular. A COLES grocery and many other essential stores are a 5 minute drive up the road. In close proximity there are many beautiful country towns to pull up in for Antiquing or Lunch. Many beautiful drives. We recommend Witta for its stunning beauty. Maleny and Cooroy for excellent local shopping and fantastic Markets. Yandina and Pomona for Saturday Markets.
Santorini was wonderful.

Breathtaking views of the ocean, mount Coolum and the Sunshine Coast hinterlands behind the apartments.
We stayed in apartment 21, level 4 which was so lovely, fully self contained with full mini laundry (ie. washing machine, dryer, ironing & clothes horse). Even the kitchen has stunning views overlooking the ocean and down onto the street. 2 parking spots in the secure undercover carpark under the building. The location is perfect with amazing coffee, cafes, an Italian restaurant, fish and chips as well as gelato all just downstairs. The park and beach is just across the road, dog beach too - even Parkrun on a Saturday morning! We really would have loved to stay longer - 3 nights of paradise in this beautiful and well located apartment. With all that is available and is happening during the day, Mudjimba is still a very casual and laid back little village where locals are friendly. At night we loved having all our windows and doors open to make the most of the beach air and after 11pm even on a Saturday night this little village is asleep and at peace… just loved falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach

Our 4th floor apartment was clearly recently renovated and just an absolute delight. Clean, pretty and spacious, the views over the trees to the ocean were just perfect. The main bedroom had an ensuite and the 2nd had twin beds, both with balcony access.
Shower pressure was good, the kitchen faultless. We cooked a hot breakfast every day we were there. The main bathroom even had a bath. We hardly needed the air con as the weather was so mild, but it worked well. Ceiling fans in the bedroom kept us cool at night and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep.
The balcony was large and fitted a full six-person table and chair set. Many delightful hours were spent there reading, drinking or just looking out at the view.
The pool is enormous - big enough to do laps in! One suggestion I would make to improve accessibility would be to install a hand rail on the pool to allow easier entry and egress, currently the shallow shelf and step without anything to hold onto presents a challenge to older guests.
The area itself is super-quiet and yet we found everything we needed for a relaxing holiday within a minute’s walk (general store, coffee shops, fish & chips, ice cream, bakery and even a restaurant).
The beach is patrolled and only a short stroll away.
The occasional aeroplane goes over from the Mudjimba airport, they’re loud but gone in a minute and after a while hardly warrant a remark.
We loved our stay and highly recommend Santorini to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing break.

We had a wonderful stay in these apartments. The amenities are perfect and the location is ideal for a beach holiday. The beach is directly across the street and there are fantastic restaurants and cafes on street level serving great food and even better coffee.
What made our stay even more perfect was the accessibility. We had my family over for dinner one night and my mother has mobility issues and can’t manoeuvre up and down steps. This was not an issue here as all access was level and there is a lift servicing all levels.
The owners are lovely people who care about the quality of there accommodation and we will definitely stay here again when next on the Sunshine Coast.

Our stay at Santorini was awesome. Julie and John really looked after us and the complex was exceptionally clean. We even saw whales from our balcony. The restaurants and cafes near by, in walking distance, served delicious food with great service. A patrolled, flagged beach across the road for safe swimming in the surf and a nice pool back at Santorini.

Great location very kind and friendly management. Unfortunately outdated very old hard mattress, carpet was filthy with stains needs to be replaced. Only 1 air con unit in the lounge room nothing in rooms and as soon as sun hits the window with no black out blinds it’s like a sauna as you wake up. For the price per night this things should of been included only 1 ply toilet paper was a bit ruff. No views on of the beach. Very noisy unit could hear everything outside and bar downstairs.

We stayed for a week in Unit 19, this unit enjoyed an ocean view and was spacious and well equipped. Nearby there are a mixture of cafes and restaurants, plus a bakery and small general store. There is also a Coles a short drive away. The resort is quiet and we enjoyed the pool each day, most of the time we had the pool to ourselves.

The beach is a short walk over the road. The only thing to note is that planes regularly fly over the resort, hence 4 stars instead of 5. This didn’t really bother us, but it is worth noting if you think it will affect your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.

Hi Mary, We are always so happy to read that our guests have enjoyed their stay especially when you had a relaxing time and would not hesitate to return. It is one of the pleasures we take away as managers to watch our guests destress and enjoy the laid-back vibe that is Mudjimba. Have a lovely week and we hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, David and Janelle

Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on 4th floor.
Amazing views. Never stayed anywhere that the kitchen has fantastic views.
Very spacious clean apartment. Well equipped kitchen.
Large balcony & bathrooms.
Great for a family. Very quiet area across the road from the beach & large park. Fair amount of street parking.
Close to shops & cafes.
The Surf Life Saving club doesn’t have a bar or restaurant but everyone seems to use the bar across the road on the corner.
Large pool but quite cold .
Only other negative- the lift is VERY slow.
Janelle is amazing- the friendliest & most helpful manager.
Mudjimba beach is close to the airport but the few planes that fly over didn’t worry us at all.

Hi Jeanette, Thank you for your lovely review. We are thrilled you had a lovely stay and made the most of our secluded little spot on the Sunshine Coast. We are very lucky to be able to provide such spacious accommodations to our guests and we are definietly spoilt with the restuarants and cafes close by. We acknowledge the solar heating for the pool does not quite cut it at this time of the year, however we are working with the Body Corporate on a solution. The lift will have to wait for a bit though as we just price a bigger faster you-beauty one at $285000. It has been added to our long-term budget. In the meantime, as the Manager, you can imagine I am very grateful for the lift we have. Have an amazing week and we hope to see you and your beautiful family again soon. Kind regards, Janelle

We stayed at Santorini as our friends had already booked in to stay there. Our friend has incurable bowel cancer so we wanted to spend some quality time with them. 2 days before our arrival our friends mother passed away and they were unable to come. The other 6 of us decided that we'd still go. Phil was the rudest and most incompassionate person we have we have ever met in our whole entire lives. He said that it wasn't his problem that she passed away and still debited their credit card !!!
Our group went out for breaky on the Saturday morning and on the way out several of us smiled and said gidday, Phil couldn't even manage a smile let alone acknowledging us verbally.
We arrived late, no milk in the fridge to make a cuppa because they don't provide that !!! 24hrs into our stay the supplied half roll of toilet paper had gone and we had to buy more from the shop or pay them $2 per roll !! Then there was the cleaning, a cleaning fee would be charged if you didn't clean the place properly. Ohhhh and if any furniture has been moved it's $100 a piece to have it moved back !
I'm not sure what your nightly fee covers ? Clearly just a money making business which lacks compassion and common courtesy.
Our 3 bedroom apartment, with an ocean view, (well, the last meter or 2 of the ocean before it meets the horizon) was spacious and clean.

The Manager of the Santorini Twin Waters was terribly rude and obnoxious when we were booking in. We inquired about shortening our stay by one night to visit a terminally ill friend in Brisbane before we left. We were horrified at the reply. The manager firstly bagged Booking.com for giving a discounted rate and then told us we would forfeit the money for that night. He added if we didn't like their policy that there was a cheap motel down the road.

The units themselves are individually owned. The one we stayed in was clean and tidy. The curtains in the bedrooms were inadequate. The sun rises early and is streaming in by 6am - not great if you have young kids.

The location is beautiful.

We were hoping this would be the first of many trips to the Santorini, but we will not be back.
