This hotel was booked for us as part of a group that were travelling. It is not a hotel I would have chosen myself but we gave it a go. The rooms are tiny and be warned that triple rooms are the same size as twin. There is no cupboard or shelf storage which is ok for an overnight stop but we were staying longer. There was a clothes rail in the bathroom next to the toilet with a few hangers on it but unfortunately if you had a shower then they got damp from the steam. The shower was enormous, too big for the room in fact and the only plus point. The beds were singles and more like put you up beds. Breakfast was woeful, just baguette and bread and a slow toaster. There was no cereal or fruit or hot option. Not even a croissant. We ended up going to a supermarket and buying our own even though we had paid for breakfast. The breakfast room wasn’t big enough as the hotel was full. There were tables outside under a staircase and next to a huge brick wall. Not an attractive setting at all. Don’t bother with breakfast although the coffee was nice. This is a popular stop over hotel for truck drivers and as there is no lounge or outside space they are often hanging around on the walkways outside your door smoking. It’s a bit unnerving although we never had any trouble from them. …
