Been to 11 Reserves in India, and this has been the best property yet, the views, the proximity to wild life, the walk in the campus, the sense of security, and the calls in the wild can be heard from your bed, the ramganga river flowing from one side of the property and the valley view can be mesmerizing....

This is the best place to stay if the main focus is safaris. Need to book well in advance as the number of rooms are few. This is a government property but is well maintained. Rooms are large and clean.

No towels so better carry your own. The sheets and pillow covers were fine if you are not finicky, else carry your own. One rickety wall fan...

It is close to impossible to get a booking at Dhikala FRH and so we were delighted when we got two Annexe rooms for one night at the FRH. Having stayed in many national parks across the world, we were not too thrilled by the accommodations. The rooms are old, not well maintained and the beds are hard -- you...
