The rooms and social areas are more spacious than other hotels. They have a few deck chairs on the beach front and there is a raised shaded area too. Their rooms are set off the beach where as other hotels are built into the cliff with better views. Weigh up the options, better view or better room?
At first our hotel room was at the back near the road which was loud early on the mornings. Specify during the booking that you would like a room closer to the beach. When there was availability we changed to a different room and slept very well. The hotel staff are very accommodating and smiley.
We had a lovely NY celebration with hotel at a reasonable price. With a buffet and tasteful entertainment.
The beach area is the really nice. The second best beach in the neighbourhood. During high tide the rocks don’t bother you but during low tide you will have to avoid them a little. But Nothing dangerous or nothing that will effect you from getting into the sea. If you want the best beach, walk ten minutes the right, past the ‘rock bar’ and it’s perfect.
My only suggestion for the hotel is to terminate the stingless bees that are nesting outside in the wood work of some of your rooms.

This is my second stay at this wonderful little place and I loved every minute of it.
The staff are so kind, happy and friendly and it is really great value for money. The rooms are clean and spacious, not the most modern, but that doesn’t matter one bit.
The island is beautiful and these bungalows are a brilliant place to stay and really good value.
The staff make the experience even better.
Ps/ yes there is a dog but I didn’t see him cause any problems what so ever and the owners are quite clear about how to treat him.

What a lovely peaceful location. The whole island is, by the way 😎.
Really enjoyable stay of four (4) nights with the two of us. Spacious room, lovely staff.
A top location on a perhaps less known island..
When you go, stay here!!

We have been guests in Season Bungalow over the last six years and stayed every year more than two months. So we can of course say more about the resort than somebody who stays there for only two nights.
Here the negatives:
since last year they have dogs, one is problematic. This dog welcomes the new arrivals with barking and growling pretty aggressively. The owners don’t have a clue how to handle this dog and we have seen bizarre scenes when this dog seemed to attack people and the owners were just looking. For us it is not a question if that dog will bite finally somebody, the only question is when. It shouldn’t be in a resort with many people, among them many kids.
The resort is on the main road, busiest point of the otherwise quiet island. Noise from many mopeds and in the night time from the bar directly in the back of the resort.
The internet is a joke, sometimes available until 10p.m. in the restaurant, nowhere else.
For some more years on one side, directly behind one of the two rows of bungalows of the resort, there is a massive building project in progress, with noisy construction machines of all kind all day long.
The tab water is sometimes OK, sometimes brown and sometimes black.
Positive and negative:
the staff is lovely, the girls in the restaurant and the cleaning ladies, all very nice, friendly and charming. Except the lady at the reception – the wife of the owner. She can become from one second to the other so incredibly nasty and rude, never seen somewhere else in another accommodation. Especially when guests have small or as well valid complaints, we have seen her becoming really rude many times and thought some guests would have complained about two ants on the bed or other stupid things, but now that rudeness happened also to us. She accepted a booking request for the bungalow in which we stayed, although it was promised that we will stay another month. No sorry or apology for her error, no attempt to find an acceptable solution, just the usual rude reaction, we have to check out. A good hotel offers in case of a booking error an equal or even an upgrade solution. Since quite a while we were thinking it is time to go somewhere else and now this “receptionist” made it – after the shock and the disappointment - pretty easy for us to go. There are so many nicer places on beautiful Ko Jum with good atmosphere and where you feel really welcome as a guest. We will miss the lovely staff, nothing else.

The location was nice as its right on the beach. The bungalows were a decent size but could use some upgrades. The hotel does have a restaurant on site with decent options so we didn't have to go very far to eat anything. Hotel staff were very kind and lovely to talk too. Koh Jum is a peaceful little island to spend a few quiet days relaxing on the beach reading a book and playing with some puppies.

Seriously, the girl at the front office is so rude, she should never be a Thai. She is screwing you up and never loose her smile and always thanks you. Twicer frustrating! She gave me on purpose the worst room with ants and a filthy smell. Seriously, avoid going there.

After checking all the comment on the trip advices, our family have choosen season to stay, however from the first day when we arrive, the welcome from the lady manager was cool, i guess that might because of season have very good business. But the most terrible thing,we r traveling with an one year old babe, there is no hot water in the room, and we need to ask for the hot water from the restaurant after the dinner to prepare the milk for babe, surprisely, season manager charge us for the hot water...that's unbelievable....

This is the review that I wish I had read before choosing to book here! Hopefully it will be helpful but will also depend on the type of traveller you are and what you are looking for. We were a couple looking for a quiet chilled out time on a clean beach with good food. I made the mistake of booking the most expensive bungalow which actually is most expensive because it is bigger and had an extra bed. It was a deluxe sea view but not looking over the beach but the garden. What I now know is that you will be surrounded by families with small (crying, coughing, loud) children on either side as families also stay in these bigger rooms! I wish we had booked a cheaper place in the back with the same garden view as it was not relaxing to hear kids all the time, even when they were in their rooms as the bungalows are set close to each other.
I didn’t really gel with this place to be honest. The rooms are mostly concrete and not the nice wooden terraces that we had been used to. No fridge either and no included breakfast. Not a big deal as there is a large breakfast menu but we skipped eating here for breakfast after the first day as the service was by far the slowest we experienced in our entire Thailand trip! No scooters were available for us so we rented from next door instead.
One other thing that was not good is that the beach is definitely NOT pristine. There is a really nasty problem with broken glass all over so you really have to watch your step when bare foot. We spent a long time picking up jagged glass on our first day but then realised it was never ending. We went all over Ko Jum and this beach was by far the worst for some reason.
We really enjoyed next door at Golden Pearl and would love to have stayed there instead. Good vibe, friendly staff, great Fubar, pretty and well spaced out rooms with a\c for a quarter of the cost of Seasons and no kids!
The last thing is the transfer. We went direct from Seasons to Krabi Airport. This was easy. Car pick up to take you to the Mutu Pier about 5 mins drive (50 Baht each person) then on one of the small ferries that mostly go every hour (13:30 and 14:30 etc) for the 45 min journey to Krua Pier on the mainland (100 Baht per person). Then we booked a private car transfer from Seasons for 800 Baht to the airport. The lady at Seasons said this would take an hour itself and so against my better judgement she said we needed to get the 13:30 ferry and not the 14:30 that I had thought. Well, this took 20 minutes only! Expensive transfer and really annoying as it meant we were so early for our flight and had 4 hours to kill in the airport which was not fun!

We stayed at season bungalow for 3 nights and regretted that we did not stay longer. Real good food and everything very reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. We had a seaview deluxe bungalow. The only drawback is not having wifi but that might just as well be. Its good not to be online all the time at koh jum.
