Located at one of the best spots of the island with an absolute dream beach. Fantastic staff (I left my cell phone on the way in a taxi and they went to find it and brought it back), great food, cool music. Only downside (and for us traveling with a child unfortunately a rather big one) is that there is...

The location right on an unspoilt beach is fantastic, the staff in the restaurant and the food excellent, but I was annoyed that the Agoda site description was inaccurate, they could have made it clear that there is absolutely no electricity in the rooms, which is odd considering they are nice well built bungalows and not basic bamboo shacks. It...

I came here about 7 years ago as a backpacker & was pleasantly surprised that not a great deal has changed when I came back with my boyfriend. The beach is a long 2 mile golden stretch with a few bungalow resorts dotted along that mostly have their own restaurant & bar. Plenty of places to choose to eat &...

We booked Joy on a whim looking for something else. We stayed for a week at Joy and had a good time. You don't have any electricity at most of the cabins/villas but the cantina provides a good meeting point in the evening. We became a bit restless after a week but that could be due to our nature... Only...

Location - excellent stretch of beach on the beautiful Island of Ko Jum Food - really enjoyed all the food, some of the nicest meals we had on a three week trip of SE Asia. Cleanliness - room was not cleaned after previous guests - part used soap and shampoo in shower cubicle. Beautiful wooden furniture on balcony but not...

We stayed here for three nights before our trip back to the UK, it’s just a wonderful place to relax and leave the world behind you for a few days. The bungalows are a mixture of styles and all very basic, but this adds to the charm of this place. We spent most days just swinging in a hammock, reading,...

Joy Bungalows are a small collection (40) of traditional styled huts along the beach. There are several sizes, all have running water to wash with but no power. There is electricity in the main building from 9:30-13:30 and 17:30 to 23:30. During the power hours, you can charge your gadgets on the reception desk. After dark, all guests can have...

Pretty much as advertised - a good place to go to get away from it all. The kids were a little bored, especially by the third day, but my wife loved it from start to finish. The swimming in the morning was great, if the tide was up. The lemon pancakes were to die for. No, really. Try them if...

The island of yum is itself a wonderful place to be. Whit good food all around and many nice commendations. The small fishing village offers some light shopping and has some restaurants. From the island you can make day trips to the Phi-Phi island and other island nearby. Joy Bungalows is not for everyone the place is very laid back...

We ve been to joy bungalows just for taking our lunch. So we cannot say how the qualities of the bungalows are. But the meal was very delicious and very spicy too. So if you dont like hot food tell them first. Beach is also great but the mosquitos and some yellyfish made us suffer a bit
