Was on a trip to southern Xinjiang with a group of friends and lead by a local recently - Nov 2016. Stayed there for 3 nights: 1st 2 nights straight; went out of Kashgar for 2 nights; then, back for 1 night. The toilets are terrible: floor tiles had stain marks, bath tubs are full of darkened soap scums. The... More

international?? 4 star?? nobody speaks English, not even the slightest attempt to be helpful or polite. Worst reception staff I ever met! Beds are so hard that the beds in hard sleeper trains could be described as luxurious. Rooms except the carpets are clean but furniture should have been exchanged 30 years ago. The chair just broke whilst my travel... More

The hotel is in a very good location, right in the center of the city. It is a good business location, and good for walking the city in the evenings. But learn Chinese well as no one speaks English. Chinese beds tend to be hard but even for Chinese beds, the beds are very hard. 3 of my 6 nights... More

Stayed here twice now and can give it a good overall recommendation. First, the location is central and you can walk almost anywhere in 20 minutes or less. There is a lot to see in Kashgar and this looks to be the best hotel to explore the city by foot. In addition, there is a Best Food (kind of a... More

Stayed here for four days. It is fairly central to Kashi and has many facilities close at hand. The rooms are well equipped and if a little smoky are of a good size. Breakfast is typical Chinese with a good mixture of typical fare Service from the staff is good and the hotel is kept to a good standard by... More

I booked Wenzhou International Hotel for 2 nights for 188/rmb a night. It is labeled as a Chinese 4 -star hotel. The rooms were decent. However, there is no wifi in the rooms. The front desk wasn't too helpful in terms of asking for directions or cabs. The breakfast consists of quite a huge spread of typical Chinese breakfast buffets... More

The Wenzhou hotel is a big four star chinese business hotel, with the quality and comfort you would expect from a four star hotel. It is quite impersonal of course, but we chose to stay here because at 35$ for a double room it was surprisingly cheap. The room smelled a little smokey and the beds were quite hard, but... More

“Don't pay more to have a room with a window. The ones without are identical except if you open the curtains there is just a wall behind it. The view is better from Best Food anyway down the street. If you don't like your room, ask them to change right away. They are used to this. But take everything with a grain of salt. No room will be perfect.”

“I chose the central windowless room because it was the cheapest. Try to stay high up because there's a KTV on the 5th floor.”
