There are 4 comfortable bedrooms in a separate block, amazing breakfasts, and a range of pub evening meals. They were prepared to make sandwiches for lunch and were very helpful and welcoming. Lots of outside space and safe for children. Free wifi in the bar.

Friendly welcome, comfortable room and a great breakfast. A good spot for discoving the local area. We did not eat in so cannot give an opinion on bar meals, however the menu looked interesting. Those people we saw having lunch seemed to be enjoying the food and it did look very appetising.

Over the last 12 months the food has improved no end. The fact that the restaurant is always busy is the result of the new owners. The fish menu is outstanding. Can't comment on rooms as I'm local. But if you go for the sole fillet you won't go wrong.

Stopped here by chance as we were passing. We were looking for somewhere to eat. Menu was good and had lots of Choice. We had mussels and it was lovely. Another Friend had chicken. And that looked good too. Worth stopping for food. Pub does look a bit grubby from road but don't let that put you off

Visited here today for Mother's Day, a fantastic pub with a great atmostphere and a warm welcome recieved. A fantastic menu with loads of choice, excellent fish menu, steaks and children's menu available. Staff are very good and make the experience as best as possible. You may need to book, but worth it.

Decided to meet up with old friends from Bath, (I was coming from Stroud) for lunch and a catch up. It was half way for us all and dog friendly so we decided to try it. We had a table booked but needn't have bothered as there was only one other table occupied. The fire hadn't been lit and the...

There is no getting away from the fact that this is probably the worst room we have ever stayed in. Everything is in need of a complete refurbishment. Unfortunately I was under the impression from the website and trip advisor that this had been undertaken last Autumn, but the Landlord has told me it wasn't done. The website says Superior...

We stopped here for lunch during a walk. I got their soup and sandwich combo, which I was really excited about, as we were enjoying cold, gray weather. The cheese sandwich was good, though would have benefited from a a veggie or pickle in it. The soup was good, but the portion size was tiny. Disappointing. My husband enjoyed his...
