Stayed here while visiting friends . Lovely big room immaculately clean. Breakfast was really good made with local produce. Hotel is really quaint filled with very interesting and eclectic pieces without being cluttered. Owner was very welcoming and hotel ideally situated on the high street .Will stay here again 😀

Love this olde world hotel. Has so much character but has nice modern rooms. Been here so many times but will always come back. Breakfast is great too all with local produce. Great location at the top of the high street so easy to get to the restaurants and pubs if required

Stayed here when meeting some friends. The building and the interior were beautiful. I stayed in the attic and the only negative was it was very cold and i was possibly too cold to sleep. The view was lovely of the high street.

Stayed here for three nights at the beginning of November as I was starting a new job and the head office is in the area. The parking for the House is along the high street and is free. I was greeted at the door and shown to my room. I was in room 2 which was a fantastic room. Huge...

We enjoyed staying in this lovely old house. There are lots of stairs but the staff will help with luggage. Good mattress, great shower. Breakfast eggs were perfectly cooked, with "real" bread and very good sausages from the shop just down the high street, and mushrooms that did NOT come out of a tin. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for one night and would heartily recommend this historic guest house in Chipping Sodbury. Although we stayed at the weekend and there was a very lively scene at the pub across the road, we were not kept awake - the double glazing obviously worked. The house is beautiful and is furnished in a comfortable and very interesting...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A fine house that retains a homely feel; Duncan and Jo are well-travelled and have filled it with pictures and artefacts from all over the world. Bedrooms differ but all are cosy and well decorated. Breakfast is a truly local feast and will set you up for fabulous walks (Cotswold Way). There's a basement sitting room with comfy armchairs and books. You also have the bustling town to explore with its shops and restaurants. ... more   less
