My daughter and I have just returned from Garden Cottages, an easy three mile drive from Great Missenden. This B and B is a delight. We stayed in a beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean room with kitchenette and bathroom and everything kitted out to the highest standard. The delicious and plentiful breakfasts were served in our room by Malcolm, who...

We had 3 nights here and Shelagh and Malcolm looked after us very well. They were easy to chat to and keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The huge super-king bed was very comfy and there were good black out curtains and it was very peaceful. The shower had a good flow and plenty of hot water, just...

Staying at Garden Cottages was very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the self contained cottage which was perfect for us. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Shelagh and Malcolm are very welcoming and delightful hosts. We will definitely stay there again on our return to UK.

Stayed for three nights with two young sons in the room with the kitchenette. The decor is minimalist and stylish and both the huge super king size bed and sofas are very comfortable. Kitchen had more than everything we needed. Breakfasts are top quality brought by Malcolm to our room and eaten on the folding table and chairs laid with...

Gorgeous neck of the woods and charming hosts....I've never met such an informative couple who are so well respected in their local domain...and I have travelled across the world over the last 28 years.

Really it has all been said before but we endorse the previous reviews. Charming, helpful hosts. Lovely, immaculate room with every facility you could wish for. Quiet (very important to us) and dark when sleeping (also v. imp). We had a great stay. Thanks Malcolm & Shelagh.

A very pleasant luxury B&B. My room was a combined bedroom, sitting room/eating area and kitchenette (with fridge & hob), plus en suite bathroom. It included a comfortable double bed, built-in sofas with coffee table, fold-away dining table and chairs, and TV. The bathroom had a modern wet room-type shower. Furnishings and fittings were modern and quite stylish. The choice...

Stayed here over the weekend just gone. Beautiful room and fantastic breakfast. Great hospitality from the couple running the place. The one thing to note is that the main photo they have here is actually their house and not the Cottage which is out the back. Still lovely though.

I stayed in the Garden Cottage Great Missenden last week end with my boyfriend and we both loved it. I thought it was a fantastic place to stay, very pretty, nice, clean, quiet and very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer! Breakfast was great and hosts were also very nice and helpful. If you're looking for a place...

Garden Cottage is simply faultless. From the stylish, clean and modern fittings, right through to the plentiful breakfasts. Everything is done to a high standard, and nothing is too much trouble from hosts Malcolm and Shelagh. They reckon to be laid back ,but we know they work very hard to take care of every little detail. Malcolm lays a beautifully...

“We chose the self-catered room, knowing that we'd probably only use the kitchen for one evening, but it really offers everything you would need for cooking your own food, so I'd serioulsy recommend it, even if you only intend to stay there for a few days!”
