It's like the 4 time I visit this place. Still a very convenient place if you don't have too much money.. Santa Marta is way more expensive. Taganga is a changing city right now.. new constructions, new people... A lot of changes are on way right now. Casa de Felipe is a very good place with few thing we like...

This hostel is very nice located not far away from the beach. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. They give good tipps about things to do in the region. If there is something negative, that are the noisy dogs an cocks you hear very well at night.

Taganga is not the nicest or safest place in this area of Colombia so it's important to find somewhere comfortable and secure whilst staying there. This place seems to fit the marker and we hoped to spend one night here to get a good night's sleep before heading to Tayrona National Park the following morning. It wasn't quite the good...

Taganga is not a really nice place, but La Casa de Felipe is a little island of peace and tranquility. The whole place is made up with an eye and love for the details. Two little ponds with waterfalls cleanse the air, hammocks are everywhere, the food is really good (especially after you came from Tayrona), the rooms are large...

La Casa de felipe is a good choice, open space, a lot of hammocks, good food .... If you need a good wifi connection I recommend to book a room in the first floor. A little bit of noise at night, but it's the music from the neighbors. The rooms are ok, we didn't need AC, is was so windy...

Casa de felipe is a nivel hostel. had the chance to stay there for about 4 days and enjoyed the food as well. I was travelling with two foreigns friends and noticed that the staff have a very poor english or none, which is a disadvantage if you work in a hostel where people is coming everyday from overseas.

We stayed in a room near reception and it was very noisy at night and early morning. Many people were smoking in the restaurant and outside our room which had open windows so it smelled awful. The breakfast isn't included but it's cheap and good.

Spent several sleepless nights at Casa Felipe due to a drunk neighbor who plays vallenatos and rancheras at top volume 24 hs. Hostel management and local police says it´s a known problem but don´t undertake any measures to stop it.

La casa de Felipe is located about 1km from the beach, so far enough away from the bars to be quiet at night. It has endless areas of hammocks and a great rooftop area with a great view and a nice breeze (taganga is very hot). The staff are all very friendly and helpful, Daniel, the chef makes great food...

Food is okay. The rooms are clean. The shower is nice. The room is nice, staff ok, disco bar in neighborhood. I can not get sleep. Room is unimportant. The disco in the neighborhood is that loud, that the doors are vibrating with the bass.
