The place is simple but charming. The owner was really welcoming and gave us a lot of tips for our next trips to Palomino, Tayrona and Ciudad Perdida. However, it was very hot in the room due to a fan that didn't work well and there was a little bit of noise around (music). Anyway, good value for a short... More

This place is excellent for the price I paid. Basic but very good. I had free access to the living rooms and the kitchen (I didn’t actually cook, but I needed to prepare my breakfast and a night snack). I didn’t like the town that much, although this little hotel was my oasis. I spent more time sipping wine in... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the upstairs room with private terrace. It was such a breath of fresh air to arrive to casa Tara. Andreas and his mother are wonderful hosts and we instantly felt so at home and welcome. Taganga itself is a bit rough around the edges and if we weren't staying at casa Tara I don't... More

Casa Tara is a really beautiful place, quiet, comfortable, nice people. Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. ANDRES is really helpful to recommend good spots and guide you through the city and the region. Do not miss the sunset with a "Club Colombia" on the terrace.

Our room at Casa Tara was a paradise amidst a very dry, dirty city. We decided to stay in Taganga, as a base to all the Carribean adventures of South America, all though we wish we had stayed in Palamino instead. However our stay at Casa Tara was among our favourite Hostels. The staff was amazing and helped us with... More

We stayed at Casa Tara before and after our trip to Tayrona National Park. Our room was spacious, airy, clean and had a great shower. Andres was an excellent host and really helped us plan our time in Taganga and Tayrona. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and to recommend restaurants, transport and to even... Andre and his mum are the best hosts you could have, happy to help you with anything you need during your stay. Andre helped us arrange our trip to Tyrona National Park and let us leave our big backpacks whilst we were away, he also recommended some great places to eat in town. The rooms were spotlessly clean, they actually... More

A really nice little place about a 5 minute walk from the beach. Andres the owner was so friendly and helpful to us. The room was beautiful with a great view and the price was good. I'd love to stay again. Can be a little hard to find though!

We stayed there only four nights, but it was one of the best place we stayed at and we had wonderful time there. Everything was perfect and we liked it very much. And we felt as at the best friend's home. Casa Tara is located on outskirts of the town, what give you silence and peaceful atmosphere and let you... More

We definitly recommend La Casa Tara for a stay in Taganga. Staff is friendly and more than helpful to provide you with all the information you need (restaurants in Taganga, trip to el Parque Tayrona...) The room was nice, clean and big, with a terrace and a hammock. Also a fridge in the room. Well located, 500 m from the... More
