Very nice view of the water but overshadowed by the highway. Boat ramp for $15.00 launch fee. Huge overflowing dumpster, several unfinished yard projects. Very poorly maintained property. No updates. Dirty, loud window air conditioner. Dirty floors, holes in dry wall throughout.

We stayed in a cottage for 3 nights over the holiday weekend. The room was not very clean, cobwebs and things left under the beds from previous guests. There is old 2 ring hot plate and an old looking microwave in the room but nothing else. The fridge was dirty as well. The cutlery and dishes looked like it had...

That bad review are accurate, the is a crap place. If you drink and party, we may not remember what you were in... The place smell, stick and it's just a dirty motel. That's just and old highway motel. To bad people drag me here... I should have done my check on it.

We went to Muskeys as a small get away hoping to relax. Before we reserved it we read the reviews and they seemed to have received somewhat better reviews in the recent years so we thought we would give it a try. Once we got there our first impression was that it was not maintained from the outside. We went...

Two burner hot plate with tiled back(which previous guests left their sauce on-wasn't cleaned!!) front door not/not in properly! Patio curtains are missing hooks, so can't block out all sunlight! Deck doors are full of cobwebs and...

The location is not the best, since it is really close to the highway, giving the impression of being a motel, not a resort, as the name says. After a few minutes there, we could feel otherwise. Being close to the water and having firepits, a voleyball court and a peaceful environment, we forget about the location. We cannot even...

My husband and I stayed with two 20 year old boys for three nights. It was planned to be four nights but we had an emergency at home and had to unfortunately leave a day earlier than planned. The staff was very understanding, and helped us by refunding the last night. The room was very clean, with soft beds. Had...

Four families of us visited the area with kids during the past weekend. We had so much fun in the area, fishing, swimming, sunbathing and mostly relaxing. When we were there, the entire resort is booked up. It means it must be very popular. The first floor is all kitchenettes, with BBQ, fridge and other utensils equipped, the terrace is...

I have stayed here a couple of times. The pros are it is lake front with boat rentals great fishing with decent size rooms that are clean. The cons I have found the people at the front desk a bit cranky. It seems as if everytime we ask a question it is an inconvience for them. It also sits right...

“If you think the road noise will bother you, ask for a room on the far end. If you have trouble with stairs, ask for the lower level. Consider spending the few extra dollars for one of the cottages. Closer to the water and less noise and still good value.”
