Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately, our room was extremely dark and very simply furnished, the bathroom was a joke, sorry. It was clean, but that was it. The shower was so small that even my 7-year-old son complained. There was hardly any space for the toilet next to it and the paper holder was so awkwardly placed that it almost came off its hinges.

Cups are wrapped in plastic. Why don't they provide proper, washable ceramic cups instead of plastic waste?

The outdoor area itself is lovingly designed, the small pool is really cute, with the waterfall. Unfortunately, the loungers were not provided with cushions and there was no information about where to get the cushions. No service at the pool, I only got a coffee when I asked at reception. The ladies at reception were very friendly. No help with luggage despite the steep stairs to our room!

Nevertheless, there are plenty of places to sit in the courtyard and it is really lovingly designed with lots of plants and flowers. This attention to detail should also be applied to the rooms and bathrooms.

The breakfast buffet is absolutely OK. Good coffee and cappuccino! At least there is fresh fruit salad and fresh pastries, but even here at the buffet there is individually wrapped “food” in plastic.

No parking, we were just lucky that there was a free spot in front of the hotel.

The place itself seems rather desolate. Insider tip
for eating: Trattoria da Giulia, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The atmosphere there is not sooo nice but the food is extremely good and the staff is very friendly! Also the Pizzeria Sergio, extremely good, also within walking distance.

Beautiful, small, quiet and romantic hotel.
The inner courtyard with the olive tree and the beautiful pool invite you to relax.
The rooms are simple but clean and everything is there.
The fly screens are perfect.
The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous.
It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel.

It's a shame that we only booked the hotel for one night as a stopover.

Mille Grazie!

Beautiful with an amazing location near town. Inside pool and garden is wonderful. Friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast and no dinner but lots of places to eat or go to grocery store for food. Make sure you visit the local vineyard Continti for wine tasting as it’s a close walk.

Beautiful stay. We stayed 1 night in transit in Sardinia. Extremely friendly staff and very clean accommodation. The room had everything we needed, very neat. The swimming pool and the delicious aperols were the icing on the cake. The breakfast was also very extensive and freshly made. We would love to come back here!

We stayed 3 days in this hotel. Impeccable cleanliness, very nice swimming pool. Satisfying breakfast! In addition to us, our dog was also welcomed in the best way.
Perfect place to relax and which allows you to easily reach the beautiful adjacent beaches.

I returned to Villa Canu after several years... because I remembered it being a nice place... in fact
place.. it's nice.. now they added a swimming pool.. but the rooms are a disaster.. or at least ours!! the mattress is very uncomfortable.. too old.. tiny bathroom.. with a shower that doesn't close properly and so you find the bathroom flooded!!! breakfast nothing special..

We absolutely loved the Villa Canu. The rooms are not in the main house but in extensions built in the backyard/court. This gave it a feeling of holidays bungalows rather than hotel rooms. We had small single rooms, but they were very clean and very nicely furnished and decorated. There is also a great little pool in the backyard, and we loved spending a couple of hours there in the evenings just relaxing before dinner. Cabras is a great base to visit the area. The owners also run a very good restaurant in town, the Caminetto. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here and would return anytime.

this is a very nice hotel in Sardinien Style.
It is an hold house renewd, optimal to stay in Oristano or for a quick overnight while visiting the sorrounding (by the way, Cabras is fantastic).
Breakfast here offers a lot, even unexpected the quantity and quality.
The hotel has nice rooms all with direct access to the inside garden court.
In the inside Garden there also a lot of table (in Garden or on Terrace) that make the atmosphere very nice, maybe at evevning while drinking a glas of Mirto or wine.
