This August we stayed two nights at the establishment, specifically in the Mistras building, since the hotel has 4 different locations, close to each other, and each one has its own particularity. Specifically, in ours it was located where the pool was. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and their surroundings are very pleasant.
For breakfast you must go to another small building, very close, and where breakfast is served, on a very pleasant roof terrace. On this point I must say that I am quite disappointed for the following reasons, excessively poor in products and very scarce in quantity, given that at 9:30 in the morning there was almost nothing left. Another thing we found missing was a small lighting in the garden area to be able to reach the rooms without having to use the cell phone.

As soon as you enter you are pervaded by the scent of natural essences and the moment of relaxation begins from there!
The spa is small but very welcoming, I really liked the fact that there weren't many of us so we could fully enjoy it.
The room was tastefully furnished, spacious and functional, with a nice terrace with a partial view of the pond
The breakfast was very abundant and varied, we really enjoyed the jam tart.
The staff was very kind and helpful, and also gave us advice on where to have an aperitif and dinner in the evening
The decontracting massage was also very nice!
Only problem? We had to go home instead I would have stayed a month!
Recommended if you want to unplug for a few days!

Splendid widespread hotel located in Cabras. Truly beautiful and with attention to every detail, from the garden, to the outdoor swimming pools, to the rooms. Very comfortable bed, spacious room. The breakfast on the terrace was very pleasant although we would like more choice in the buffet. Spa with heated pool, very clean and pleasant. The only negative note: when booking the Spa the cost is not communicated which is 30 euros per person.

What a joy to have spent 10 days at Aquae Sinis Albergo Diffuso!!! The concept of being in different places (but very close) to sleep, have breakfast and bathe is a real innovation, allowing you to have an individual welcome and not all end up in the same place at the same time. What can I say about the staff...? Quite simply, he was wonderful: attentive to our smallest requests (a huge THANK YOU to the 2 ladies providing breakfast and to Paola! What a joy to have met you!) What can we say about our room...? Very spacious, decorated with great taste (thank you Paola for giving me the address of the hardware store in Oristano to find the same door handles!) a huge terrace, a dream bathroom: a real haven of peace after a busy day. Only one desire drives us...that of returning to Aquae Sinis!

A disproportionate figure for an unrealistic hotel whose only common feature is precariousness and a lack of tact on the part of the staff. Two examples: the ants running around the room (and the useless calls to intervene); a breakfast room protected from the wind with plastic tarpaulins. Luckily the Sinis peninsula is wonderful!

Located in the center of Cabras, the rooms are scattered throughout the village. The Mitras building has a beautiful swimming pool and a beautiful garden for relaxing. The rooms are very beautiful. Very good restaurant. In good weather, you can eat on the terrace. Very nice place.

We stayed at the Aquae Sinis for a week and were very satisfied overall. The concept of the albergo diffuso was not a problem at all as the three buildings are located within easy walking distance of each other. We especially liked the really charming atmosphere of the hotel with lots of lovely details and typical Sardinian decor. A big plus are also the pool and garden areas and, as so many reviewers have said before, we absolutely loved the rooftop terrace where breakfast was served (definitely above Italian standards).
That said, it nevertheless didn't feel like a 4-star hotel but rather like a b&b with some perks and rustic atmosphere. For example,in 4-star hotels you expect to have warm water for showering throughout the whole day, not just in the mornings when the hot water boilers are full, or the walls to be thick enough to not hear every word from the neighboring rooms. Don't get us wrong - we are not a particularly picky guests and are fine with basic facilities, but other guests will probably be dissatisfied with these things when the expect 4-star standards.
One thing that needs to be mentioned (even though it is not directly associated with the hotel) is that it turned out really difficult to find eating options in Cabras. The hotel itself doesn't seem to have a restaurant anymore; at least it wasn't mentioned to us in any way. (Only on one evening there was a special Sardinian dinner with music on the terrace for a group of American guests, but that wasn't open to others. We actually found it rather annoying because our room was directly below the terrace and we felt that this should have been considered or at least mentioned to us.)
We ended up eating at the same pizzeria three times during our 1 week stay and even went to a supermarket in the outskirts of Cabras one day to buy ourselves some pre-packed sandwiches because we couldn't find a place that was open. We did see several restaurant signs in the center of Cabras, but most of them seemed to either point to long-closed restaurants or to places too far from the center to get there by foot.
Altogether, we were satisfied with our accommodation choice as it was a good base to explore the west coast of Sardinia, but not more. A car is absolutely mandatory because after a day in Cabras you have definitely seen everything there is to see.
That said, it nevertheless didn't feel like a 4-star hotel but rather like a b&b with some perks and rustic atmosphere.
