Second time me & the wife have stayed here. Spa bath room both times was fantastic. Spa bath is a real winner. Very homely, comfortable facilities. Couldn't get WiFi to work. But wasn't an issue as it was a break away from everything. So checking Facebook was last thing on mind. Lovely pub serving great food, comfortable environment, lovely friendly... More

The Lugger Inn is a 200 year old pub located in West Street, Chickerell - a one time village - but encroached upon & is now a district of Weymouth. The pub however is a traditional village pub. It has a nice cosy restaurant, function room, skittle alley & a very well stocked bar, the latter being a very pleasant... More

Table for two, first time actually eaten at The Lodmoor. Large choice of dishes on the menu. One went for Faggots Mash, Peas n' Gravy, while I, who hadn't had a Curry for ages, opted for a Madras Beef!! Served nicely both dishes. So tasty, but my curry was RED HOT, the Chef having made this batch fiercer than usual........ More

Room good size but very dated. Heating was not on when we got there and room was very cold. When we questioned this was told that they don't put the heating on when they don't have many guests. The heating was put on after requested. Service was friendly and food was good.

Four of us went for lunch yesterday and the food was fantastic for the price. We all ate off the '2 for £10' menu; beef curry, burger, fish and veggie quiche. All arrived in good time and filled us all up. Drinks very reasonable and a great selection. Can't wait to return.

We booked this B&B for a 1 night stay very last minute for a walking holiday around the coast. It was a great stay with large rooms and good facilities, TV, free wifi and lots of car parking. The bathroom could do with slightly longer shower glass as the water just went around the edge and flooded the bathroom, so... More

Pleasant check in and shown to room, room was a good size, with a particularly unattractive view of a shed with no doors (mop and buckets thrown in!) and a washing line with a ton of pegs strewn across the floor, not the best first impressions overall the room was acceptable, more care is needed when cleaning for example the net... Holidaying in fleet. Decided to take a walk (1.8mile) from campsite. Well worth the walk. Exceptionally friendly staff and landlady went out of her way to ensure all was well. Bear was good. Food was good for pub food. Definitely worth another visit.

Booked last minute into the Lugger Inn and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms recently refurbished in more tasteful colour scheme than is on the website. Nice friendly pub/hotel in the peaceful village of Chickerell gives a welcome escape from Weymouth town centre but only few minutes drive away. Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and apart from the... More
