We wanted Sunday lunch at the nearby Turk's Head, but they were full. So we settled on the Lugger as we knew it as a bar. We have eaten here before, a long time ago and, if I remember, it was good. Unfortunately not this time...... We had to go to the bar to request drinks as the waitress forgot...

Friendly staff; soft and comfy bed; good value food (we stayed on steak night). Very clean and the shower was hot. Our room looked over the car park but we were not disturbed (although we weren't there at the weekend). Highly recommended.

Room was ok, comfortable bed, lobby smelt damp. Furniture and upholstery needs a spring clean. Food wise you are safe with fish and chips. Breakfast was the best part. Staff friendly and warm. Quiet neighbourhood. Location is good for Weymouth, Chesil beach and Portland.

We was camping 2 miles up the road and we was closer to the Victoria inn, but this place was a complete and utter vile place! The lugger though was lovely, the bar behind the bar was always smiling and couldn't do enough to help, and we had a beer after 11pm on a Sunday evening so we can't complain...

Took family (son and young family, father in law and wife).Could only get there for the last sitting. The carvery was still very fresh and staff more than accommodating. Will be back. As I am local it is important that my guests enjoy the experience.

Nice and chilled out, average pub grub but nice staff. Went again for the carvers, again nice enough but found somewhere close by that was far better food and value. The upside is that they do have sky sports so if your a sports fan then it's a good allrounder.

This the second visit to the Lugger Inn this month, and again was not disappointed. Although very busy we were served very quickly. My Granddaughter requested a different item than listed on the menu and it was supplied without any hassle. I can recommend this lovely country inn for all ages.

As we arrived at The Lugger Inn my first impression was that it looked a bit tired. However, inside was warm and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they couldn't do enough to help us and we felt instantly at home. We had a family room for four of us and it was clean, warm and spacious. We...

Nice traditional pub with rooms serving good food at competitive prices. Very friendly and efficient staff. Themed food nights, so check their website. Slightly difficult to find if you do not know the area, but well worth searching out.

Great staff, friendly welcome, and the carvery is to die for! We booked in advance to avoid disappointment and we weren't wrong! This place is very popular, and rightly so. We will definitely be back soon Parking can be tight though
