I have just returned from a week at Yannis and it was superb. I just don't understand the negative reviews on here...I am a 'normal' person with good expectations and believe me this surpassed them all!

They seem to allocate rooms when booked. We went there with Monarch and all the Monarch rooms were at the back not overlooking the sea but this was only weeks before Monarch went bankrupt. The seaview rooms appeared to be allocated to TUI and Thomas Cook customer. I suggest you contact TUI Customer Service and pressure them.
To be honest we had a top floor back bedroom which was fine other than no lift (we are both 70) we often sat in the bar area which gave good views of the area. It is a great hotel with a lovely family running the place. Only a short walk to all the restaurants and the ferry. We took the ferry to Fiskardo on Kefalonia for the day a great day out. If you want better restaurants slightly inland ask the owner to sort it out he books the table and organises the non expensive taxi. We were very pleased with his recommendations
