We had a lovely stay at Rosemount, exceptionally clean, lovely atmosphere and fab service from the owners. Excellent costal views and right near the local pub. Close to forest, costal and mountain walks. The guesthouse is the perfect base for anyone.

We booked this at the late minute our first time in kippford, everything at the hotel was super, everything you could ever want was supplied in the room, clean, cozy and a really great breakfast, the owners are lovely and we will be staying here again.

Lovely little place. Accommodation very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Two pubs within two mins walk. Nearest The Anchor was best. Friendly helpful staff. Other pub, The Mariners, looked ok but the landlord was most unwelcoming. I wouldn't go there again.

Nice little place this. Twin bedded room & ensuite shower room admittedly were a little tight but pretty view of estuary outside the window. Lovely breakfast. And very welcoming people. Would visit again. Shore outside is more mud than sand but there's a level walk along a private road to a small beach.

Very welcoming, room nice and warm, breakfast was excellent. Room had great view over the tidal river mouth. Located near to two pubs and beautiful walks. Vanessa and Don were very welcoming and provided great information about other local places to visit.

Returned to Rosemount again for a couple of nights in October with a friend visiting the area for the first time. As we expected she enjoyed herself thoroughly. You are always sure to get: a warm welcome, comfortable well presented clean rooms with plenty of tea making/biscuits provided and an excellent freshly cooked breakfast to suit all tastes. The conservatory...

We just can't seem to stay away from the Rosemount. The place is special and Don and Vanessa are special too. We popped up for the weekend and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We booked this at short notice as a stop off after our hols. We booked The Suite as a treat. It has a separate sitting area and bedroom with a king size bed. The sitting area has 2 reclining leather chairs and a great view over the bay. Don met us on arrival and showed us around even pointing out...

It is difficult to add to everyone's excellent reviews for this delightful guest house. As we were late booking two nights' stay over the first weekend of September we were offered the room without ensuite facilities. This was not a problem, in fact it was a bonus for someone who loves a soak in a bath at the end of...
