We went on Saturday night as we hadn't been for a while and the meals had always been fairly good for us. The main point for most would be that currently they can't serve any alcohol, we can manage with that so we went ahead. We turned up without booking and there was a notice on the door, but nothing...

We stayed here on a wowcher on the 17th & 18th Oct. We arrived at 3.30 & the room wasn't ready so we was taken to the bar to wait & given a complimentary drink. Didnt wait long for the room. Although basic the bed was very comfortable & the room was clean. The shower curtain had mould all over......

This was booked via wowcher and we had been looking forward to it. On our journey to the hotel my husband got a call asking if we were coming from a very grumpy sounding man we could only assume was the owner who was rude on the phone. When we got there, no one was on reception so we waited...

Stayed here with a Wowcher, tried to check in at 3.30 & was given some excuse about the cleaner not having been there to do the room that we were supposed to have. We went into the bar to have a drink, then drove further into the village to find a cash point. On returning we were met at reception...

The onsite pub is clean cheap and has good entertainment, very friendly staff and good service in all areas. Only negative is the beds are abit hard and uncomfortable and the curtains are thin and let alot of light in but...

Would NOT recommend to anyone. I booked and paid for a room and meal through wowcher 3 months in advance but I was sent a message to my house phone 2 hours before we were due to check in to say they had double booked and they were cancelling us. As we were already there we had no option but...

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Groupon voucher - we turned up at 3pm. Check in was fine and as the room wasn't quite ready, Jacqui offered us a complimentary drink which was unexpected but a pleasant surprise. After about 30 minutes our room was ready, it was lovely and after reading some of the other reviews, we were...

Friendly welcome eventually, rooms are spacious and clean but cold and damp feeling, we had to request toilet roll within hours of being there as they'd left no spare, room was so cold that you were unable to dry towels, so as instructed by notice in bathroom left used towels in bath and that's where they still were when we...

On arrival we was greeted by very friendly staff. We brought the wowcher deel 2 nights including evening meal and breakfast for £60 for 2 people and was amazed by the value for money. The evening meals where to die for especially the pate and black forest gateau. Rooms lovely and clean however duvet did have some undisolved washing powder...

On arriving on Saturday night I was instantly approached by a drunk from Leeds who was staying at the Inn & thew insults at me, this was quickly sorted out by the owner who called the police & they must have carted him away. The owner came over & apologized to us which was appreciated. We were shown to our...
