We are touring around the area and it's our 1st time camping having hired a motor home. Lovely site and location. Showers and WC facilities very clean and spacious if a little basic in their construction and not heated. I was surprised that it was 10p for the shower but the hot water lasted 6 mins and it was plenty...

We have visited the site previously and have enjoyed every visit. The location is quiet and within walking distance of Craster. It's located well for visits around Northumbria such as Alnwick where I would recommend the gardens, the castle and it's worth while paying a visit to Barter Books! There are lovely walks from Craster itself across to Dunstanborough castle...

This was my very first experience of towing our new caravan and I arrived at the site a little nervous about pitching etc. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who went out of his way to make things as easy as possible. We were able to drive right onto the pitch without any reversing and it was a...

We have just got back from a great weekend enjoying the beautiful Northumberland coast. It's our first visit to proctors stead but I'm sure not the last. A lovely quiet site we were shown where to set up our tourer by the gentleman on his bike, the toilets and showers were basic, clean and did the job. A great base...

We booked this site as we stopped near Berwick the last time we visited and wanted to see the coast a bit further down. The site is well presented but basic. The washing block is not heated and basic with shower and toilet cubicles and a larger room with some basins( no good for a strip wash with privacy). The...

Stayed two nights in our tent with our two children and some friends. We were able to pitch close together and had a lovely quiet spot next to a cow field which the kids loved! The site is a good size, has lovely views, is quiet and very relaxing. The facilities were clean and ample. The showers were easy to...

Generational Boys outing with my father and son arrived a little bit earlier than the 1pm booking time but was happy to wait until then as the owner was cleaning the facilities. Immaculate campsite with everything that you would need. Perhaps the facilities are a little bit dated but are still well maintained. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting...

We love this site and have been a couple of times now. Its a small, quiet and tranquil site, facilities are good, although 10p for water as its their own supply. I personally dont mind paying. The owners are lovely and accomodating. There are numerous nice pitches to select from however busy the site is. There is no phone signal...
