I stayed here for three nights in mid-May along with a great crowd of angling colleagues fishing Lough Corrib and Lough Mask. A perfect location. Everything was ideal - and top quality food in the restaurant.

If you want to really capture the warmth, banter, music, friendliness of Ireland this where you should stay.......not some glorified 5 star hotel that pretends to be Irish but behaves like any other. The owner Eddie is ever present, will join you for a drink and share a few dtories with you. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bar...

Comfortable and nothing too fancy but just what we needed for a quick overnight stay before visiting Ashford Castle. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was good to start our day. Ensuite was good, room clean although a little warm if the window is shut! Nice and quiet so the kids could rest well.

I stayed here last night, it's been on my list for a while as I've heard great reviews about the hotel. I was not disappointed. Warm welcome from the staff on my arrival. The room was spacious, warm & clean. The restaurant was very busy being a Saturday night, service was prompt, excellent selection on the menu, steaks, local lamb...

Very accommodating from start to finish. Lovely young man called Mark looked after us and made us feel so welcome . Made our stay 5 star to 5 plus. Based on this alone will definitely be back. Breakfast was very enjoyable and met standards.

I think I may have been the only guest this night in January, was travelling for work, weather was miserable. Great food (chef on for just me?) including gorgeous breakfast, great pint in front of the fire in the bar, nice locals and staff all chatting and friendly. Room was warm and large. Will be back!

We were planning our daughters wedding at Ashford Castle. We live in the USA and had come out last May to look for accommodations for our 20 friends and family coming from all over. We just happened upon Fairhill House while driving through the town and decided to stop for lunch. The owner, Eddie, overheard our conversation about finding accommodations...
