We spent 3 days with Scuba Junkie on Mabul and I happily would have extended the stay. The garden is beautiful as soon as you come of the jetty. They do environmental work with turtles, beach cleanups and help the villagers on the island to reduce waste. Their dive masters are great and you always dive in small groups. Clearly...

You expect the diving to be great here and it didn't disappoint. The whole operation was very well organised and the equipment and staff were first class. we stayed in a ensuite fan room which was very well decorated and clean and the food was also good. .A fantastic few days. Note - actually travelled in March 2014

Unfortunatelly there are not many choices in Mabul/Kapalai. Scuba Junkies is vey lucky and therefore they get still customers. Very unfriendlly environment. From management to local staff. I was surprised how unfriendly the local people are. Everyday new guide and equipment what makes the diving very uncomfortable. No considering the different levels when doing the diving groups. I had the...

After a recommendation from friends to visit Mabul with Scuba Junkie we were not disappointed. Our whole experience was superb. From the lovely staff, yummy food, great accommodation and of course some of the best diving in the world at Sipidan we would not hesitate to return. Thank you Guilia, Cat, and Simon for making our experience one to remember....

Great value, very organized. Yes it can sometimes feel like its a bit busy, lots of people going on the pier at the same time. But they always had me in groups with my skill level and all their boats would go to different places so it never felt crowded.

I did my AOWD course here and had booked 4D3N first and extended for one more night eventually. I stayed in a bungalow which was quite nice. There was plenty of food provided between the dives. The schedule for the day was pretty tight with two dives in the morning normally and one after lunch, especially with all the reading...

There are actually three different things that I want to review here: S.E.A.S (the environmental arm of scuba junkie), scuba junkie (the dive centre and operstions) and their resort on Mabul. Since there are no dedicated pages for the first two categories, I'll just review them together with mabul beach resort. I did a reef check course led by their...

The only reason to be here is diving. Everything is related to diving and sea life - and it is is well organized, thoughtful, with very high environmental awareness. After your dives are finished the day is over - you can have a quiet beer at the bar upstairs of the main building and maybe have a look at sunset,...

We did a 2D/1N night snorkelling trip with Scuba Junkie. We would have booked for longer but the 3D/2N package didn't incude any further snorkel trips, just another day on the island. We paid 514 MYR (£95) for two people which we found to be very good value! We spent one day snorkelling around Kapalai and another day snorkelling around...

We booked our four day dive adventure from Kota Kinabalu and were very lucky to have included a day with four dives around Sipidan (normally you need to book far in advance for this due to the restrictions) so thanks guys for making that happen for us! The other dives around Mabul were also awesome, we did our first night...
