I spent a few days at Osman´s house and highly recommend him and his lovely family; but that is not a place for everybody, if you are looking for comfort and people waiting to please your whims then you should consider a fancy lodge and...More

Wow!!! Just finished 3 incredible days with Osman and his family. Extraordinary! Osman is certainly a character. He has a very generous heart and so wants his guests to get the most from their time on the Kinabatangan river. We were out on the river...More

We stayed with Osman and his family for 2nights/3days. First of all let me say, after reading some negative comments here I, as a woman, wasn't sure what to expect. But I am happy we stayed here. I can definitely say that Osman has respect...More

Osman is quite a character: he talks almost too much and has no filters, however, he´s a really good man, interesting and reeeeally motivated. His family is very nice. His wife, who deals with the reservations by telephone and whatsapp, is also a really good...More

With a group of 4 persons we are planning a trip of 2 days from Sandakan to Sukau. We would like to travel by boat to and from Sukau and stay one night in Sukau. Does Osman's Homestay facilitate such a boat trip? If yes can you inform me about times en costs, if not, does anybody know an organization who does offer such a trip against a reasonable price? Thanks in advance!

My name is Chie Shimokawa and I am a japanese university student. My English is poor, but please give me the help. I am interested in the voyage of the river in this island in this summer. I make a ship or a raft with a local person and want to take a trip to the river. I know that a lower basin is cautious of in particular now. Because I want to carry out the plan in summer, I intend to go to Borneo Island to scout in about February. And because the extremely short-term homestay is included the field of vision as one means, I am glad if I have your introduce. And, Therefore the next question is thankful when I get information. 1. Is there the person who can make a ship of old form or a raft in this village? It is not a thing with the motor engine. 2. Is it dangerous that a boat anchors on a river at night? Are there the effective safety measures? I would appreciate very much if I have your prompt reply. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks,
