Detailed Reviews
The views are even better than the photos from this villa. One of the most relaxing holidays I have had in Bali, the staff are perfect and very helpful and the mini bar prices are very cheap, the staff organised massages in villa for us too. The villa is clean and very comfortable we stayed in a mid level villa with a private infinity pool where the view took in Mt Agung and the beautiful bay. Walk the 125 steps down and you are amongst the great bars and restaurants along the cliff edge and a short walk to the beach. We will definitely go back.

Our stay at Sanctuary Villas was in Villa 3. There are stairs down to the villa from reception and also from the Villas down to the boardwalk. If you are reasonably fit the stairs won't be an issue. The Villa has an amazing view along Jungutbatu beach with the beautiful Mountains of Bali in the distance. The Villa itself has plenty of room with an open style kitchen, living and day bed area. Yes it does have doors and windows however above the Doors/Windows in the living/daybed area there are basically open vents(no glass). It is for this reason there is no air-conditioning in this area, only ceiling fans. There is however an airconditioner in the main bedroom so no issues sleeping at night.
The Villa has a kitchen with Fridge, freezer , microwave, gas cooker and pots and pans for anyone interested in cooking. 🥱
Besides the view the best feature of Villa 3 is the private plunge pool, you could stay here and read all day or just cool off anytime.

A suite with a view, a pool, spacious rooms and a great beer fridge - what more are you looking for?
From the very friendly staff meeting us off the Rocky Ferry, to the immaculately cleaned suite, our experience at Sanctuary Villa could not be faulted. We stayed in one of the two middle terrace rooms (with an infinity pool as part of the living room) and along a great view, we appreciated the well appointed facilities. All the rooms were of generous proportions, with the two bed rooms and the living room having ceiling fans which did a great job of regulating the temperature - aided by double sliding doors between all areas which allowed for the breeze to circulate. A large fridge/ freezer with a good supply of refreshments provided for purchase, got well used and the kitchen and bathroom were both spacious.
While there are lots of steps to negotiate, as 70+ year olds we found accessing the beach area, or nearby restaurants was not an issue, and they also provide delivery for takeout food orders. All in all we had a very pleasant three days at Sanctuary Villa and would highly recommend if for couples or families of four. Well done Manager Janu and your team.

Wow what can I say about the absolutely stunning views from Villa number 5 !!! We spent 1 week here and we will be coming back. Janu and his team were fantastic, nothing was a problem, from cold drinks (Bintangs) in the fridge to anything else that we required - all we had to do was ask. Yes there's a few stairs either up or down but it's a very small price to pay for the incredible stunning views that await of the island, volcano, surf break and beautiful blue waters right below. Air conditioned bedroom, comfortable lounge area and kitchenette, large sundeck and deep wet edge pool it was a perfect location for our week exploring everything these islands have to offer. This is our second trip to Nusa Lembongan and it just keeps getting better! Thanks Janu we will see you again, Gary and Lee.

We had an amazing time with sanctuary villas. To start off, they set up our pick up and drop off from our prior hotel and to our next hotel after our stay with them and our hotel before our stay with them. They also assisted with our fast boat tickets (and the fast boat has a port so we did not have to walk out into the water and carry our luggage). The team also met us at the port and ensured we were on the right truck to sanctuary villas and helped with our luggage both when we arrived and when we were leaving and really went above and beyond. They also went above and beyond and dropped us off and picked us up from our snorkeling trip and we were also able to rent a scooter through them very easily.
Accommodation wise, the view is absolutely beautiful from the villa and the villa itself is great, we spent a day relaxing by our private pool. The location is also fantastic, as there are several great restaraunts nearby and two beautiful beaches just a short walk away. There was construction going on nearby however we were never bothered by any noise. One thing to note however is there are a lot of stairs–which was not a problem for us and the sanctuary villa team carried our luggage there and back but the stairs are definitely something to think about if it is difficult for you or someone in your group to go up and down them.
All in all, we had such a great experience and can’t recommend this place enough!

We have been to Lembongan on five previous occasions and stayed at a different place which our friends owned. They have sold so we wanted to try somewhere different but still overlooking Jungutbatu. In advance of writing this review please keep in mind that our previous accommodation on the island was out of this world - it was well and truly our happy place and somewhere we’d hoped we’d be going back to for many years. Now onto the Sanctuary Villas. Beautiful location stayed in Villa 5 with amazing views over the ocean from our deck and plunge infinity pool. Staff were awesome and made our stay most enjoyable. Location is spot on with many restaurants close-by. The Villa itself is very comfortable but needs some minor updates from a maintenance perspective. Rust was common on lighting in bathroom and the microwave was very rusty too. The main bedroom had a lot of mould in the wall with the air conditioner leaking water. Good to have bottled water available but no hot water in bathroom sink tap. This is primarily constructive criticism on what was a very enjoyable stay.

The villas are in a great location (lots of steps) the staff are really friendly and the view is fantastic.
The problem we found is they are in need of an update, they have become very tired in terms of decoration.
Examples include, desperate need of a paint, doors don't close correctly, tiles missing, rusty lights, and other decorative pieces that need to be replaced.
It is still worth staying here for the view, its just that online pictures don't really show the condition. Personally I would choose somewhere else for the price.

Lembongan Sanctuary Villas offered a flexible layout that perfectly suited our family's needs, and we appreciated the option to either close off rooms for privacy or enjoy the villa as an open-plan space.
Additionally, the added security feature of being able to lock off the plunge pool area with a key provided peace of mind, especially with small children (though we did also opt to hire a fence through Lembongan Traveller)!
Please note: The shortcut down to the Jungut Batu area is quite convenient once you know the way and do expect to carry small children up and down the stairs to and from the villa.

A large, spacious studio room with kitchenette. Sliding doors open onto a private deck and plunge pool. Views over the bay with Bali's Mount Agung in the distance. The wifi was very good.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They helped us organise snorkling trips tnd transport around the island. Resort arranged pick up from Denpasar Airport and ferry tickets to the resort.
Warning: Lots of steps down to the beach and resturants.
