Stayed here for four nights in a ocean view room. It was pure bliss! Perfect place to slow down, watch the ocean and lay around the pool while having a bite to eat.

The room is kept cool with the air conditioning and is the perfect size, very cosy! The bathroom does have open fencing although this didn’t bother us, we had very minimal mosquitos venture into the bathroom.

The restaurant offers a nice selection of food. The complimentary breakfast has 5-6 options and we found this to be sufficient and great quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the food.

They also offer massages! And have a cute little hut where this service is provided.

Yohanes and his team provided great customer service during our stay. Yohanes is very friendly, has good English and helped us with any activities we wanted to do and easily answered any questions we had.

The only suggestion for improvement would be to have a thicker blanket in each room for extra comfort for a good nights sleep and possibly air conditioning in the massage hut.

Would highly recommend and stay again!

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and loved it. The decoration is very simple but beautiful, the surroundings are super quiet, it has a lounge and pool with a sea view and the staff was always available and kind. The only tiny thing I didn't like was the slightly remote location. If you don't go by taxi or rent a scooter you will have to walk a 15min bumpy road through the jungle, which at night, with no lights, can be tricky to know exactly where you are going.

Absolute gem of a place, tiny resort (15 bungalows), we had no 8 overlooking the sea which was just beautiful. The host Johanes was truly wonderful as were the team-nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Johanes!! We were surprised on arrival we couldn’t get a cold G&t after a long hot commute- the bar sells lovely juices, smoothies and local beer- snd the food is fresh and delicious. The rooms and resort were spotlessly clean. The resort is not accessible from the beach (the sea below comes right to the walk) and it’s 15 mins walk through Forrest and village the get to mushroom bay which is lush however the welcome, ambiance and vista made it all well worthwhile

Immediately after I arrived, I had the pleasant feeling that I had made the right choice of hotel. I had room #8 facing the water but mainly the incredible view of Mt Agung. Those little white houses, superbly and simply decorated reminds me of the Bahamas or even the coast of New England. The service is flawless with the warm smiles of the balinese. I had to extend my stay. The very pleasant and clean Mushroom beach is 15 minutes away. 5 minutes in motorbike. Great find.

Had no idea what to expect … but this place is stunning. Overlooking the ocean with Agung as a backdrop. Rooms are very comfortable and a la carte breakfast included. Staff very friendly and happy to help.
The view is spectacular … could sit here forever

We enjoyed a great 5 nights at this little gem of a resort.
The rooms are super clean and simple. FYI - no bar fridge or TV, but there's a small fridge behind the bar that guests can use. Air con works great!
We had a small mix up with our room request at the beginning, but was able to sort it out and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Johannes and his staff are fantastic. Always willing to book restaurants for us and organise transport. We don't ride scooters so relied heavily on restaurants that offer free pickup.
Was a little disappointed that the only alcohol on offer was beer, but we got to enjoy our duty free purchases.
Food in the restaurant was simple but beautifully prepared.
This is such a lovely little resort and if you are looking for peace & quiet with amazing views of Mt Agung, you can't go wrong.
Highly recommended.

We had a magical stay at the Paus Putih which is situated just up from the Mushroom Beach end of Nusa Lembongan.
Our villa was perfectly clean and inviting with a large comfortable bed and plenty of space. While there was no mini fridge and the room was quite basic, the air conditioner was highly effective and everything you need can be sourced from the very helpful hotel staff.
There are beautiful tropical gardens and an array of lounges to relax upon. If the pool isn’t your thing, you can go for a dip in the ocean which is accessible directly from the property or read a book under the restaurant pergola and take in the perfect view of the volcano.
Our host Johannes and his team were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They helped source transport and made our restaurant bookings. Johannes kindly made arrangements for my husband to take a fishing trip and even had his team cook up his catch for our lunch.
Our booking included breakfast daily which was made to order and always delicious. With a selection of local and western options on the menu, my kids loved ordering lunch and snacks from the restaurant whenever they were peckish.
The Paus Putih is within walking distance to Mushroom Beach, local warungs, restaurants and very many massage places, yet it is very private and quiet. For ease I recommend hiring a scooter for your stay which Johannes can help you with.
Paus Putih is the perfect place to relax and unwind while also taking in some of the best tropical views and experiences Indonesia has to offer. I highly recommend the Paus Putih.

Really so unimpressed with this place. On first glance it’s really beautiful, the place looks visually pleasing almost with a Greek feel. However, it greatly lets itself down.

Firstly, the rooms are very bog standard. There is no fridge, no safe (apart from a little lockable box glued to a table), no fresh water each day, no cleaning of the room, one dirty blanket to sleep with and awful bathroom with horrible white lighting.

We had to ask every evening for the hot water to be turned on as it wasn’t working, this is a feat in itself as the staff Hardly speak any English at all. If anything, they spend the majority of their time sat down looking at their phones. When we were checking in, the girl was going through her WhatsApp messages while we were talking!

The pool area is fine, the breakfast is fine.. nothing is special at all abou this place.

Also, it is a nightmare to walk in the daytime or evening to anywhere remotely busy. If you want to get there quickly you have to walk along a tide line of rocks which is very slippery and dangerous - and unwalkable if the tide is in!

I think in general, Nusa Lembognan is a pointless island to come to. There is nothing to do, the beaches are not very nice and the people are nothing like the lovely Balinese or those on the Gili islands. We were shocked by the attitudes on those on Nusa because we have only received lovely behaviour from everyone else on other islands and the mainland!

Overall, I wouldn’t come back to the island or the hotel.

So the place is quite new or at least on TripAdvisor it is new with just 1 comment (5 star) when we booked.

Nice accomodation with own pool area and beach where more than a dozen ships park. Nice view if you can have one of the first suites with sea view, otherwise you can look over to your neighbour:).

People are really nice here, they try to help immediately if you need help. AC works properly if you wish to cool down the room. There is no fridge in the room but we were not missing it. You can rent a motorbike easily right at the hotel and they can arranged you pick-up if you need.

Still there is room for improvement.

- when showering warm water is not really warm and is not stable. The tap water is cold only.

- there is no blanket just a bedcover

- equipment at the pool area should be maintained, parasol is broken, white paint is coming off from the side of the pool

- the walls are like paper (and the bathroom has only bamboo "windows", so you can hear all noises from outside e.g.: our neighbours' Air conditioner box, neighbours' talking or a pair making love, or roosters and local people just behind the suites). We heard fireworks were started behind our Suite in the first evening, than the roosters felt the need to wake up the world at 4:00.

If you are a sensitive sleeper, this is not your place even not with an earplug.

- breakfast is not really tasty, do not expect much. Neither the food nor drinks. Orange juice is coming from ~4L plastic jars (I have seen it brought by a waiter during breakfast), do not expect a freshly squeezed or a simply good one.
They cannot make a hard boiled egg (you know, when half of the egg comes out during it is boiled? That was served. The other one was not hard boiled, but soft boiled.), and if you say you do not need jam, fresh fruit and juice (which would be included in the breakfast) just tea but instead of black tea (which is included) you would like to have a flavoured one they will say no, it is not included...

We booked the family room and 3 deluxe villas for our 5 night stay and for most of the time we were the only ones there. The rooms are new, crisp and clean. The grounds are well thought out with lots of plants and flowers. The pool is amazing but also slippery around the edges. Food is really good if they have what you want in stock (typical island restaurant with minimal perishables in stock). Breakfast is cooked fresh with healthy options. Staff are friendly and genuinely want to help out to make sure you have a good stay. I would definitely stay stay here again and recommend to others.
We also went to Tamarind divers for scuba diving. The dive shop is only 3 properties down the beach.
