I would like to know where Jonathon S stays if he thinks the Woodland View B&B is dark, cold, and charmless.... Aliya greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. She showed us to our bright bedroom with a large well stocked en suite wet room / shower room. Our tea tray included more things than you would find in a top...

Despite what Jonathan S said in his unwarranted review 109 excellent reviews on trip adviser are not wrong. We totally enjoyed our stay. We found Aliya very accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were bright and airy the best we have ever stayed in. The B&B is a little hard to find but one phone call to Aliya was all it...

Without doubt one the best B&B's we have encounted. Our host Aliya was most welcoming and our room was large, bright and spacious with a truely wonderful double bed. The bathroom was modern with a superb showering facility. A private balcony with table and chairs overlooked the garden and woodland area. The English breakfast was substantial with plenty of choice....

You only get one chance to make a good impression. Finding this charmless little place is a challenge to begin with. And when you get there, the clutter and untidiness outside in the drive do not bode well. In the end, we had had to telephone the owner to be "guided in". She seemed surprised to see us and clearly...

Dear Jonathon When you arrived at our doorstep it was clear from the start that you didn’t want to stay. When I went to shake your hand and welcome you, in the friendly way I do to all of my guests, you were very reluctant to do the same and made some very grumpy comments about the place being hard...

What a fantastic bed and breakfast in a lovely setting. Was greeted by Aliya and what a lovely friendly host, gave a great tip on best place to have evening meal and a local walk in the area to Chapel and Milton Abbey. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning at a time to suit you. Cereal, lots of fresh fruit,...

My wife and my self only stopped for 2 nights but wish it could have been a lot longer, this is one of the best b&b's we have ever been to. From when we 1st arrived, we were greeted by the owner Aliya, what a wonderful person she is, nothing was ever too much trouble, and her husband john was...

An excellent bed and breakfast, with wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, we really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a private terrace, although it wasn't the weather to sit outside. I would think in the summer months, sitting there with a glass of wine would be superb. There were plenty of tea/coffee sachets, biscuits and little chocolates in...

Booked to stay just one night, which is most certainly not enough. What a little gem. Is it the lovely house, in an amazing setting? Is it the fabulous rooms, comfy beds, fantastic bathrooms? Is it being able to sit out on the decking overlooking beautiful garden and woods? Is it the lovely breakfasts that are served in an equally...

By far the best B+B myself and my family have ever stayed in. The 5 of us booked both rooms at Woodland Views, with my parents and younger brother fitting comfortably in the larger room with the private terrace. As this was a birthday present for my mum, I was delighted when she absolutely loved the place. Aliya and John...
