We absolutely loved this B&B - Frederick and Michele are absolutely the best hosts - personable, concerned about our experiences, and very helpful. The location is just about 3 city blocks from the Midi station (which worked wonderfully for us since we planned on daytrips from Brussels); I never once felt unsafe in the area. The B&B, itself, is unbelievable...

B&B in a great area, as it is close to Eurostar train station. First thoughts about the area were a concern but over the three days I found the area safe. I was greeted by the owner which was great as my train was delayed. However I didn't see the owners again during my stay (they did explain this to...

We stayed at L'Art de la Fugue on New Years Eve 07. The room was nice, but it was not the one we had booked - we booked the Farnelli, but were given one with an Indian theme. Our main complaint there was no breakfast available when we got up and no one around to help (except other guests). We...

Hi, we are a young coupple from Madrid, Spain, and we were in this nice B&B for 3 nights during this Easter week. Let´s go step by step. Personal touch: Many reviewers say that there is no personal attention and that they didn´t meet the owners. Okay, i think it is probably true and when i say that i mean...

I spent three nights in L'Art de la Fugue and would certainly go back there if I went to Brussels again. I was in the Indochina room which was huge and lovingly furnished and had a large and immaculate bathroom. The room was somewhat gloomy because the walls are painted a dark colour and the drapes cover some of the...

My partner and I spent two nights at L'Art de la Fugue. We didn't meet the owners, which after corresponding with them was a little disappointing. Their instructions on how to get to the b&b, a short walk from the train station, were very accurate and easy to follow. We found the area convenient, as we were able to walk...

The first time I stayed in that B&B was in march 2007 and now each time i need to come in Brussels I book a room in that place. The 2 owners are very courageous : each of them have their own job. Frederic has is own restaurant and if I remember, Michel is working for a chemical company and...

We had a night in Brussels before an early Eurostar back to London and I was very excited about staying here. Booked the Farinelli room but when we arrived, having notified the owners of our arrival time well in advance, the previous guests were still in the room and not checking out. So instead of relaxing in the room and...

The room we were given is NOT on the website, we named it the Austin Powers room - it was very kitch/'60s/changing rooms. The bedroom was bright orange and dark red with furry furniture. There were several photographs of small children from around the world on the wall of the bathroom and a silver disco ball on the end of...

“Not sure if you can request a specific room, they are all so different and wonderful but I would recommend the huge and fabulous African room at the top of the house if you are prepared to do a bit of a pull up on the stairs.”

“Don't stay in the first floor room. It leads onto the communal living room which is adjacent to the dining room where breaksfast is served. It meant we had little privacy, particularly in the morning.”
