I definitely wish I had read the reviews on Bluets hotel before reserving! Any charm this hotel has (which actually feels much more like a Bed and Breakfast than like a hotel) is immediately spoiled by the woman who runs the hotel. Imagine: we arrived after a tiring trip and dripping wet from rain, and instead of a normal welcome...

It is such a special hotel and in this present age of plastic uniformity it is a real little jewel. We found Room N° 2 so large and full of character and breackfast conversation were interesting !! We hope to return next year.

Stayed at this hotel several years ago and after having traveled Europe quite a bit the last 8 years, and experiencing a differing degree of quality for the same number of "stars", this is the only hotel I have felt I genuinely need to warn people about. The hotel itself is fine, a bit quirky but pleasant. The bed was...

I must say that the service of the hotel is very bad! The hotel itself is quiete cute, but that doesn't count for its owner. We received a written confirmation for a room of 1 night. however, on arrival she shouted that the room was already been given away to people who could stay longer and the only option was...

The **-Hotel les bluets is a nice, small hotel near avenue Louise and gare du midi. The nearest metrostation is at 3 minutes walking distance. The hotel has 10 rooms which are full of antique decoration. The rooms are nice and clean, and the price is moderate (approx. 50 euro per night). Breakfast is served downstairs and consists of coffee,...

The old "bait and switch". Having to go to Brussels on business at a time when there were very few hotel rooms available I ended up staying at this place after an acquaintance gave me the telephone number. What a nightmare! After having confirmed by e-mail that I was asking for one of their higher priced rooms for three nights,...

Though my reservations became mixed-up through errors on my part and the staff of the Bluets, my room was kept available though i did not arrive on the first night expected by the Bluets' staff. Never was i expected to pay for that first night, as they quickly attempted to understand how the misunderstanding occured. I mention this due to...

The start of our stay at the hotel was dream-like... sure it may be cluttered with faux-colonial ornaments and there was no lift but the rooms were beautiful, rather large, with TV & phone and well-priced. The morning/breakfast is where the problems began... we had previously dealt with an affable Senegalese (I believe) gentleman. We were now, ahem, 'greeted' by...

The rooms are lovely and comfortable, if somewhat overpacked with pictures, statues and other objects of art. It can make you feel like at home. We stayed for one week, in two different rooms and liked both, though one was rather small and we had to move around with caution, affraid that we might brake an ornamental lamp or something....

Aside from the enormous disappointment that is Brussels (there are 100's of nicer cities in Europe), we managed to stay in a hotel that was run by the wicked witch of the west. The hotel itself is cute, if not cluttered and dirty, and it feels like you're staying at someone's house. Too bad the person who's house you're staying...
