I have heard about this hotel and his history and was amused to have the opportunity to stay there. I was agreeably surprised to discover a very small hotel, nice staff, very good location, and although the room was very small it was comfortable. This hotel is a very good choice for discovering Brussels.

We stayed for three nights Friday to Monday. Hotel is located within walking distance to the main city (approx. 15mins), most of the important tourist sites and some decent bars/restaurants. It is also a short walk to the metro, which has good connections to the airport (approx. 30mins). Rooms have the basic facilities that you would expect from a European...

A hotel with very friendly staff who really makes an effort to make your stay pleasant. I stayed in a superior room - Manon - where bedroom and bathroom were both spacious. The decoration interior is amazing and the room had its completely own cozy atmosphere...loved it! The hotel seems to be situated in a very calm and safe area...

The hotel has an interesting sort of early 20th century boudoir theme that it very consistently implements in every element of the hotel. It is located in a very convenient location on the edge of the center, everything in walking distance. I found the bed and sheets of fantastic quality. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and...

I did not realise this before my trip but this was an old brothel and has been decorated in keeping with the tradition. As a result the lighting is quite dim and it feels slightly dingy. It was not for me. It is clean and the service is good. The breakfast is good, though the waitress does not speak English...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We will use your comment to improve our service. We are sorry to read that the "spirit" was not clear to you in the first place but please, note that our hotel was not a brothel but a rendez-vous house. It was indeed a place of pleasure, and secret love but no prostitution...

I stayed in Manon on the fifth floor, lovely room. It was quiet and easy to get to from Porte de Namur/Naamseport metro. Easy walk to Grand Place and Cinquantenaire. Amazing shower, good wifi and the room was so warm, which was great because it was freezing cold when I was there. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on...

Dear Guest, As every hotel in Brussels, we have around 20% room cancelled every day. If we charged them nevertheless, this page would be full with comments like yours ;-). It would not be in our interest neither. So, we are really sorry to read that there was apparently a mistake regarding your reservation. The easiest way is to contact...

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. Hotel was nice, clean, has a nice history, good breakfast. During second night the neighbour room started partying noise at 1 am. The receptionist couldn't make the noise stop, despite we asked him many times to do something. The noise calmed down at 6 am. The morning shift receptionist didn't charged our parking...

I love this hotel - it's charming and quirky and in an interesting neighbourhood (at the intersection between Matongé - European quarter - Louise and hipster Ixelles. Staff is always very friendly, breakfast is good. The rooms are impeccably clean and in boudoir-style (check the interesting history of the hotel!) - I love this, but if you expect crisp modern...

What a beautiful place the hotel Berger is. The detail in each room makes staying a very special experience. Highly recommend staying there on a Wednesday night - they provide free food throughout the evening and have a very high quality cocktail bar.
