Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Delightful historic accomodation in front of Kellerberrin Hill and adjacent to the heritage pipeline trail, spotlessly clean room and bathrooms, tastefully firnished with friendly and knowledgeable hosts Pauline and James. Leaves most country lodgings for dead. Beautifully quiet too.

Looking for accommodation when travelling in the wheatbelt this is the perfect place
History, a wonderful place to stay that you would be lucky to find anywhere else.
A warm welcome, a beautiful building full of history and stories.
A huge old lounge room, lots of out door spaces to sit and relax.
Comfortable beds with beautiful linen.
Shared facilities but but always kept spotless. Even with a large group staying this was not an issue.
Definitely will be back.

We were lucky to stay at The Prev for a night on a College Pilgrimage, last week. There were 22 students and 4 staff. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The Prev has been an ongoing renovation project for many years and is perfect for any type of large or small gathering. Thank you so much for your lovely hospitality.

The Prev was perfect for our small group of couples - the classroom was the perfect point of us to all come together to play boardgames and enjoy a few glasses of wine.

Great place to explore the Wheatbelt during wildflower season. The cottage had lovingly restored heritage furniture - loved sitting on the deck and watching the sunset behind Kellerberrin Hill with the birds in the garden.

Stopped here for a night en route to Kalgoorlie. What a gem. 16 rooms all sharing dorm style showers and bathrooms. Felt like I was back at catholic boarding school with the nuns, ghosts included . Lovely property. The hosts were absent but gave us the run of the well kept kitchen and dining areas. Great hike up little hill to a view site- gorgeous wild flowers
Will be back with the extended family as close to Perth but a million miles away

Australia day, where else but drive 3 hours east into the Australia that is so deep into our history. Very hot, dusty roads, wide open paddocks, after harvest.
Then to stay in a place so welcoming (thanks Pauline) was truely icing on the cake. Can thoroughly recommend The Prev
Don't expect all the mod cons, but expect to feel history.

We stayed here for our work accommodation while in town. We couldn't recommend the Prev enough! Very friendly staff, clean, classic interior and peaceful scenery. Our staff stayed for a few weeks throughout January and loved their stay.

Excellent accomodation for this couple cycling through. The best shower in WA! King size bed was comfy, although an extra blanket would have been good. Super clean and lots of loving attention to the details. We were very happy to be there and would have loved to have eaten there as well (unfortunately Pauline was away).

Pauline is always so accommodating. We have stayed numerous times, during winter and summer. Nice to get back to your room and find she has turned the heater or aircon on after a big day of work. She is not too bad in the kitchen also. This places leaves allot of the country pubs accommodation for dead. Always clean.

Beautifully restored building. Quiet and relaxed. Easy place to stay - like a youth hostel on steroids. Kitchen supplied, fridge etc. Bathrooms were great, clean good hot water pressure. Really lovely spot.
