The Crown is a nice venue and although there were no rooms availed decided to have some lunch. There were four of us and although service was slow, and we waited ages for our drinks, the food itself was lovely. In our group we had skate, nicely presented, ham egg n chips, slices of bread (which had to ask for...

Were camping nearby and came into Framlingham for breakfast. The Crown was advertising breakfast. It is a lovely old hotel, very quaint and "Olde Worlde". We all had full English breakfast, the food was good but the service was diabolical. There were four of us and we all had the same. Two cooked breakfasts arrived then, after what seemed like...

The management at this hotel is the best. Our room was big and very nice. The nicest hotel we stayed at in England. The food in the restaurant was great. I left behind 2 items in the closet and realized it a few days later. I called the hotel and they had my clothes. They mailed them back to me...

We had a spacious, well equipped room and bathroom, with tea and coffee making facilities. Once the pub closed it was very quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was disappointing - very little choice of cereals, no chopped fruit salad, and the yogurts were all the fat-free synthetic tasting ones. There was...

We have just held our wedding at the crown and could not have asked for a better venue. Gabriella, Chris and all the staff were fantastic throughout, bending over backwards to ensure we had a fantastic day. The food was fantastic, we had lunch the day before and the breakfast the day after the wedding, both were perfect. Us and...

The room was very good. Large, clean & spacious. The Staff were very friendly, helpful and courtious excluding the girl behind the bar who was a little rude and appeared uninterested with customers. It was very quite there. which we liked. We felt that the food was not up to standard, the breakfast certainly let it down. The kippers on...

We stayed here one Saturday night, eating in the hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Our room was up some steep stairs and very lovely. Although there was no AC in the room, the fan made for a comfortable night and we slept very well. As a number of people...

We stayed two nights here midweek. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. It was clean and nicely presented. Staff were friendly and helpful on first night/morning. I appreciate it is a very old building but considering this was labelled an executive room it was exceptionally noisy in the morning. A large party had breakfast under our room at...

Visiting Framlingham for a morning stroll, I was delighted to discover that this lovely hotel served Illy coffee- rarer than hen's teeth in Suffolk! We lingered until lunchtime. I chose the mint risotto which was delicious but as a main meal surprisingly meagre. However, when I commented on this, the manager instantly reduced the charge to that of a starter....

We spent two nights here recently to attend a family event. We had a wonderfully large bedroom, complete with four poster bed. A lovely bathroom with free-standing bath. The staff who greeted us were friendly and helpful. We ate in for the first night, and enjoyed some of the best fish and chips we have every had - really excellent....
