I really like this place. They don’t have an AC but the room is big and the breakfast is yummy. Make sure to stay in a room where thw breeze of the air can get inside your room if you plan to stay in the Summer coz it’s really hot inside the room in the summer

We actually live in Colmberg and have eaten at the restaurant several times. The food is always really good, and they have a few options beyond the typical Bavarian pork and potatoes, for example, a nice salad plate with turkey and seasonal spargel (asparagus) menu. The food is great value and always fresh!
We stayed at the B&B one night (electricity was out at our house), and the rooms are spacious (especially for Europe), clean, modernized, and well-appointed. The innkeeper is very welcoming and speaks fairly good English. We've stayed at a lot of such places around Germany and Austria and this is really the best value for comfort.

My girlfriend and I were staying just up the road at the castle and decided to walk down to the biergarten we saw on our drive up. It was hardly peak season and Colmberg isn't a big town, so as we walked up, we weren't sure they were open. We opened the door and there was a man there so we asked if they were open for lunch, he said they were and showed us to a table. We were the only people there and were a bit worried at first that we shouldn't be there, but that was quickly laid to rest. We decided to split a schnitzel since it was late in the day and we didn't want to ruin our appetite for dinner. I feel comfortable saying it was the best schnitzel I've ever had! We washed it down with a few delicious beers and after an hour or two were on our way with an incredibly reasonable bill. If we had been in the area longer, I could see us coming back repeatedly.

Wir waren mit teilweise zehn Personen ein paar Tage zu Gast. Die Küche des Restaurants ist mehr als nur "empfehlenswert." Die Zimmer waren sauber und Preis Leistung stimmte auch hier. Das Frühstück - Buffet war sehr übersichtlich aber ausreichend. Eier gab es erst auf Nachfrage des Gastes. Wo es gewaltig hapert, ist die Kommunikation seitens des Betreibers !!!!! Nach einem Abendessen (und Trinken) wurden wir um 20:00Uhr gebeten zu zahlen, da an diesem Abend die Gastronomie aus privaten Gründen geschlossen wird. Das kann man deutlich besser machen.

Dieses Hotel hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, unsere Zimmer überaus angenehm, sowohl von der Einrichtung als auch vom Preis. Wir haben hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war bürgerlich gut und preiswert. Wir konnten auf der Terasse unser Essen einnehmen, was sehr angenehm war. Das Haus liegt direkt unter der Burg Colmberg (5' Fußweg). Auch dieses Hotel überzeugt durch seine Lage, ist aber eine andere Klasse; wir haben die Anlage nur besucht. (Beide Häuser in Familienbesitz) Fazit. wir haben uns im Gutshof Colmberg sehr wohl gefühlt.

Der Gutshof in Colmberg ist empfehlenswert. Das Essen war wirklich von guter Qualität und sehr sauber auf dem Teller angerichtet. Der Wirt und das Personal sind sehr freundlich. (Der Gutshof liegt, wenn Sie Richtung "Burg" fahren auf der rechten Seite) Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Wir haben 3 Nächte auf diesem Gutshof verbracht und sind begeistert. Unser Zimmer war sehr freundlich eingerichtet, sauber und ordentlich. Das Bad ist neuwertig und sauber. Die Zimmergrösse ist angemessen. Das Frühstück ist gut und völlig ausreichend. Das Abendessen ist sehr schmackhaft und von sehr guter Qualität. Es gibt fränkische Küche auf sehr hohem Niveau. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Angestellten und der Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und höflich, man fühlt sich in diesem Haus sehr wohl. Von den Angestellten haben wir erfahren, dass sie gerne da arbeiten. Ich finde, das ist das größte Anerkennung die man als Unternehmer bekommen kann. Wir können den Gutshof Guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Der Gutshof ist etwas vom Schönsten was es in dieser Preikategorie zu finden gibt. Die Lage unterhalb der Burg ist prima. Der Empfang und die Bewirtung sehr zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer sehr sauber und ruhig nach hinten. Das Essen und Trinken sind preiswert und schmecken herrlich im schönen Biergarten. Gemütlich draussen zu sitzen und den Abend geniessen mit allen Gästen. Das Frühstück einfach und gut und kann im Biergarten gegessen werden. Einfach Sauber Super Preisleistung, dieses Gutshaus ist sehr empfehlenswert

We were meeting friends and were early so decided to grab a beer and a quick snack here and we were not disappointed. Not a massive menu but a nice selection of different things other than just meet and salad / potatoes On the road with tables outside so you can watch the small amount of traffic go by as you catch a few rays and enjoy the meal and quality beer. Will call here again when we meet up with friends!
