Living closeby, we decided to pop by and check out the changes since it changed hands from Ermitage au lac to Au Fil de l'Eau, and we were massively disappointed. We ordered various drinks, including hot chocolate, which came ice cold, and tasteless. Requesting the waitress to kindly change it, she refused, saying she had made it herself and it...

A restaurant with limited accommodation, it is essential to book by phone as we have had difficulty booking a room of our choice online. Our preferred room had a balcony on two sides; well worth the extra for the view of the lake it offers. As a boutique hotel it is one of the best of its kind. No detail...

i stayed for three nights in a duplex villa, it was very pleasant stay. the villa was spacious and nice. nothing to complain about for the hotel except for the breakfast, it was very limited choices and doesn't match the vale for this kind of hotels.

I have been here a few times during the years, mainly for business but for a “tet a tet” it must be a romantic overwhelming experience. I hope I one day have the time to take my love here. Never a less this is not only the place by the lake, the food is great and you enjoy every minute....

Sitting on the terrace on a sunny day with a drink and the best views of the lake, was like heaven. I wish we never had to leave. We stayed for 2 nights plus had dinner in the restaurant one night. Yes it is pricey (as all the hotels in the area appear to be) but worth every bit of...

We had lunch in the restaurant at the Ermitage. The dining room has splendid views over the lake with a light and airy atmosphere, and the decor had some nice touches. We were aiming for a light lunch, so we ordered one course and shared a pudding; but by the time we'd had the amuse bouche before our main course...

This hotel should be called a boutique hotel as it is so far removed from the big hotel concept . Its a "must visit" hotel in "must visit location . I stayed for 2 nights and I wish it could have been longer ! All the rooms have a view over the lake as I had one of the cheaper...

My husband, my teenage son and I spent 2 nights in this lovely ancient mansion which houses nowadays a gourmet restaurant and a small hotel. It’s more a restaurant with rooms than a hotel with a restaurant. Having said that in my opinion it’s one of the few establishments in Montreux offering not only a preferred location directly by the...

I was in Montreux like less than 1 month before this trip, which was actually a surprise trip for both of our families. Only dad and the mother of the other family knew about this trip so when we came to Montreux, I started to laugh. I love this city! Last time we stayed at the Fairmont Montreux Palace Hotel....
