Le Mirador Resort & Spa has earned accolades for its impressive amenities, including a well-regarded spa and diverse dining options, set against a backdrop of stunning views. Guests revel in the spacious, spotless rooms adorned with luxurious decor, contributing to a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. While the service is generally celebrated for its attentiveness, a few visitors have encountered slower responses. Despite occasional comments on the high cost of dining, many find the overall experience offers good value, especially those who opt for rooms with private terraces.

When you enter the reception at the Hotel Le Mirador, your breath is stifled, because the view through the floor-level windows of Lake Geneva and the French Alps is indeed breathtaking. The hotel is elevated above Lake Geneva, facing south and doing everything possible to stage this beautiful location. We had a very spacious junior suite with a large terrace. The drinks in the minibar are included, a coffee maker and tea making facilities are available, and as a welcome we had wonderful little cakes.
Also the view from the indoor pool would probably be beautiful. Unfortunately, we had so much fog on the second day of our trip that we did not see much of it. The pool is under a glass dome and surrounded by windows, the sauna area is small but noble. Men and women take a separate sauna, which was a good match for me personally.

For dining you can choose between several restaurants. We ate twice in the patio and were very pleased.
On arrival you will receive a voucher for public transport in Vevey. If you don’t want to go down into town, you can go on wonderful hikes or walks on Mont Pelerin.

We would also like to mention the friendliness of the staff. Exclusively everyone made us feel really welcome, were attentive, friendly and discreet. We really appreciated that.

We flew into Geneva from the states and were exhausted. We stayed at Le Mirador in August of ‘23. We arrived at 7pm from the airport so we did not get to enjoy the spa or pool but both looked lovely. View from room is simply STUNNING. Room has blackout shutters which do a great job keeping it dark… beds are comfy with amazingly soft bedding and pillows. Bathroom was dual sinks nice marble shower a bit small but nonetheless effective. We checked into room 210 with the most amazing views of Lake Geneva and the alps in the background… stunning. Breakfast was an incredible layout of buffet style with omelette bar… and was included in our fee and was simply AMAZING. Every conceivable pastry and roll under the sun, tasty omelettes with delicious coffee right out of the espresso machine…and great service. I’m not so sure about the poor reviews of Le Mirador- most seem a bit picky but we felt that this was a 5 star location and although a bit pricey, we are willing to pay more for great views and service with this place definitely offers. From check in, to room conditions, to breakfast and checkout... All was 5 star. I highly recommend.

The hotel is a little out of the way in a uniquely beautiful location with a view. The parking spaces are right in front of the building, a few steps from the reception. We were greeted in a friendly manner and shown to our room. It turned out that we had been upgraded to a junior suite. The room was elegant and tastefully furnished with a large terrace with a view. As a welcome, a red wine from the region was available as aperitif snacks. The minibar was also free to use. The beds were very large but unfortunately a little hard and I was glad to have brought my own pillow. Everything was very clean. Only a few signs of wear and tear on the terrace and the careless plants didn't really fit. The bathroom was also very spacious and had a separate toilet and shower cubicle. There was enough storage space everywhere. In the afternoon we wanted to eat something small in the bar. Cake and tea would have been nice. Unfortunately the prices were so exorbitantly expensive that we swallowed hard and looked forward to dinner. In between there would have been time for the spa. But the smell of chlorine was too strong for us. In the evening, the Japanese restaurant Hinata was actually a highlight. Everything was just right here, from the friendly, competent service to the delicious menus. The generous portions were freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Breakfast was included in the price and here too there was friendly service and cloth napkins on the table. The buffet was extensive. Only the chef for the fried eggs disappeared every time I approached the counter to order. The scrambled eggs that I finally decided on were unfortunately barely lukewarm. When I checked out, I was given enough water to take with me. All in all, a recommendable establishment. We would be happy to come back again.

Wedding anniversary dinner was a real disappointment.

The menu at least patio had a handful of options, out of which only two plates were vegetarian. Very restrictive… food and lake view were average, in any case no better than I’d have had at home or elsewhere for a fraction of the price.

Service was okay and the people very friendly. The ambiance was relaxed and not overly pretentious, which is nice and light. You don’t want people breaking on your neck and around your shoulders all the time when eating so you can have privacy for a special dinner conversation.

The biggest let down was to find out at the bill that the special offer of champagne and caviar we had as starter, not in the menu turn out to be Sfr 40/per person. We understood it to be 2 glasses and an amuse bouche for each. Well it was for one glass. And we had another 4 glasses during dinner so better of buying a bottle in any case than spending nearly Sfr 200 in champagne that costs less than Sfr 50.

A total ripoff. Nothing special and completely overpriced. Stay away. You find better food and lake views in other parts of the Swiss riviera.

To the restaurant manager. Improve the menu choices. Make clear and in writing your offer of the day. If a customer complain at the bill, listen attentively and be accommodating to invoice a full bottle of champagne rather than by the glasses it turns out to be cheaper than your “special offer”.

Dear Mr. Tiago, We thank you for choosing to celebrate your wedding anniversary at the Mirador Resort & Spa and for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand that a special occasion such as yours deserves nothing less than excellence, and we regret that we did not deliver that for you. We have taken note of your feedback regarding the limited vegetarian options, and we’d like to remind you that our menus are available online prior to making a reservation. However, we appreciate your suggestion, and the chef will work on adding more vegetarian choices. As for your comment on the view, while we respect your perspective, the majority of our guests consider it to be exceptional. I apologize for the confusion regarding the champagne and caviar offer, and for any lack of clarity in our communication. It was never our intention to cause any misunderstandings. Please note that, as with all the dishes on the menu, the price typically reflects a single serving rather than two. However, we will make sure that our team reviews how we present special offers to prevent similar issues in the future. We appreciate your suggestion to adjust billing for a full bottle of champagne instead of individual glasses. However, please understand that our waiters cannot anticipate in advance whether a guest will order enough glasses to equal the cost of a full bottle, as many guests prefer ordering by the glass specifically because a whole bottle may be too much. Nevertheless, we will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our service. Please know that your feedback is very important to us, and we will use it to make the necessary improvements. I hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with a better experience. Thank you once again for your visit and your feedback. With my kindest regards, Laure Bouche Front Office Manager

What an exceptional location and view Le Mirador has! The Sky lounge and the breakfast area are very well situated and one can spend hours together at these places. The hotel also has a very good connection with free passes for the cable car, bus and train.
Initially I was very uncomfortable with my corner room with no view and balcony. The hotel was prompt, especially George and Meier who without much delay gave me a beautiful room with an excellent view from the balcony/terrace. The hotel was kind enough to allow us to use their bar after closure (we were 12- 6 couples) to play cards on the first day. The second day someone played a spoilsport and we were denied that pleasure. The rudest person in the hotel was Patrick De Rosa refusing to let Meier meet me and talking to me strangely rude. I guess race and colour played on his mind.
Next day Rade, such a lovely smiling person, was the one who wholeheartedly supported us and allowed most of the things including cards in the bar after closure.
Except for Patrick, the horrible, everything about this hotel is good.

If we could, we would rate the hotel as good (3.5 points), but we give it 4.

For clarity: we are talking about a 5-star hotel that belongs to the “Leading Hotels of the World” group. Our expectations and requirements were accordingly.

Location: High above Lake Geneva, on Mont Pèlerin, the location is of course spectacular, which would give it 6 points. There is also a funicular (free for hotel guests) that goes directly down to Vevey.

Arrival: There was no bell captain to help you unload, so we carried our suitcases in ourselves and looked for a parking space.

Check-in was friendly and functional but not overly motivated. Anyone who asks: “Do we have to accompany you to your room?” would rather not offer this service.

Room: we had the deluxe double room #205 with a balcony and lake view in the old wing. The room and bathroom (combined bathtub/shower) were rather small for this category, but that is probably due to the earlier architecture. The large, wind-protected balcony with the incredibly beautiful view over the lake and the mountains made up for this.
A surprising plus, the full minibar is included. We found the housekeeping to be extremely positive and perfect. 6 points - thank you!

Swimming pool: unfortunately only an indoor pool plus whirlpool, but quite large and a large sun terrace with loungers.

Restaurant: we were in "Le Patio" and the experience was rather disappointing. The quality of the food was good but the selection, to put it nicely, was very modest. There is only one fish, one meat and one vegetarian option to choose from. We would also have expected that in a 5-star hotel the dinner would be white.
Our opinion: very cost-optimized.

Our conclusion: a beautiful hotel in a dream location, more for a shorter stay.

A LHW hotel that you absolutely must visit!
The journey is a long uphill ride, past the beautiful vineyards of Vevey, until you eventually reach the small town of
Le Mont-Pèlerin.
We were greeted as if we were regulars. The attentive concierge and the personal welcome from Eric Favre quickly made it clear that top customer service is a top priority here. Customer enthusiasm is lived here, which is very rare at this high level.
We stayed in the family suite, which was on the 3rd floor. The view is unbeatable!
Lake Geneva at your feet but at a certain distance. The hotel is extremely quiet and anyone looking for exactly that is in one of the most beautiful places here.
We were able to enjoy the evening in the newly opened Le Trianon restaurant.
Such service, as well as top gastronomic performance, is rarely found. Absolutely great and I claim that this restaurant will quickly be found in the Michelin Guide. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately it was only a stopover for us, with one overnight stay, but definitely not the last time.
Thank you to the whole team and the general manager Eric Favre for this friendly and professional welcome, which we really appreciated.

We loved our stay here! Best view from a room we had the whole trip. We had a room with a patio facing the lake (worth the upgrade) and the views were unmatched. We loved our breakfasts each morning overlooking the lake and service was great across the board.

I recently went to the Mirador SPA and had an excellent experience. Staff is overwhelmingly friendly and helpful, and the whole SPA gives you the feeling that you are at a place far from daily hassle. The sauna and hammam, as well as the entire place was spotless clean and all dispensers were filled (soap, shampoo and conditioner), including the bucket in the sauna, although I would have wished it scented with natural oil, but that's a detail. The pool is spacious and heated, and has enough room for swimmers that like to do some rounds like me. What's above all is the beautiful view on lake Geneva and the French alps that you have from both the pool and the SPA, something you cannot top! I will definitely go back!
