It's a wonderful B&B with breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains. Hosts are fantastic and very helpful. Continental breakfast was great. Super comfortable room with everything needed including tea and coffee. A pick up and drop off from the station was a great help. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended! Thanks Bibiane & Rene!

Believe everything you read about the excellent hosts, Rene and Bibiane! We arrived in the late afternoon and instantly felt at home as we sat outside and enjoyed a late afternoon snack of cheese and grapes that we had brought with us, accompanied by tea, coffee and conversation supplied by our hosts.
Rene gave us maps, bus/funicular travel passes, restaurant recommendations and all the information we could possibly want.
Breakfast was served inside as the weather had turned cool. A nice assortment of meats, cheese, buns, jams homemade by Bibiane, granola, yogurt..and very good coffee. Far from rushing off we found ourselves lingering to discuss everything from art to history, to CERN,to tidal power.
Laughter and fun are a constant in this accommodation. Rene and Bibiane have a real zest for life and enjoy meeting new people which makes them perfect for a B&B.
Basics about the rooms...not huge but room enough to accommodate two people, luggage and good lighting for reading in bed plus lots of wonderful natural light which I really appreciate. Very comfortable beds that actually raise up at the head for reading. Nice warm color palette in the decor. I had thought from the photos that both rooms faced the front but actually one is at the front of the property and the other is behind on a small courtyard. Both had very good showers and fast hot water. Lovely linens and towels.
View from the patio is really nice..reminded us of home (BC) and Bibiane has a nice touch with the garden and the many blooms.
We really liked the location as we drove 3 minutes up hill to park and then took the funicular down to Vevey. Rode the bus from Vevey to Montreux as well. Funicular and bus included in the transit card provided by Rene. We also did a day trip to Geneva to visit CERN ..easily accessible from Chardonne.
Quite enjoyed Vevey and had 3 very different but all very good meals in the town at spots recommended by Rene.
Even though only spent 3 nights here we left feeling like we were saying good by to friends.
You can book here with confidence knowing you'll be treated like welcomed friends and guests. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to this area.

This was a wonderful find. We stayed for 4 nights and it was the easiest stay of anywhere we have been.
Each day Rene produced "a suggestion" of what we might like to do or if we knew what we wanted to do he would suggest how we might like to achieve it. He began by providing us with instructions of where the funicular stations were and how to reach them and he provided us with transport passes for the funicular and the bus which also gave us discounts on entry to some museums. Restaurant suggestions were also provided with maps. All of these made our holiday very easy.
Breakfast was provided mainly outside overlooking Lac Leman and Bibiane and Rene were great hosts. The jams were all homemade and I particularly enjoyed the unusual Dandelion jam.
We cannot recommend Bibiane and Rene highly enough to you and we hope we may be able to visit again at some time.

I visited many B&B’s worldwide and I can’t find another one which would have been better among them.
When you park your car you go up a stairs and paths through the garden (there is also a little private road available). This is the first great impression you make. Up this path you come to the very nice house where you will most probably meet Mrs. Bibiane or Mr. René. They were my second highlight as they are so charming.
The views from the house down to lake Geneva and the mountains on the other side of the lake are tremendous. You can enjoy the view from the garden.
There are two rooms. They are very clean, rather small but they are excellently equipped with all you need. And the decoration is very nice. The bathroom with a shower is also well equipped. The hosts explain you all, so you can enjoy it from the first moment.
The Swiss breakfast is very good and Mrs. Bibiane and Mr. René stay with you. You can ask them your questions or have great discussions as we did.
This B&B is above the village of Chardonne near Vevey on the Mont Pèlerin. You can join it by funicular from the final station of bus no. 201 (Vevey-Funi). The funicular runs every 20 minutes. If you are not driving there are two choices, you can take the funicular until the “La Beaune” station and walk up the 700 meters (20 minutes) to the B&B (partly very steep) or you can take the funicular until the final station at “Mont Pèlerin" and walk down half an hour. If you cannot walk as far, just call Mrs. Bibiane or Mr. René and they will come and get you from the railway station.
I look forward to visit this great place again next time I will be in the area.

This was simply one of the best places I have ever stayed at, and for several reasons. First, the hosts are the kindest, most thoughtful people you will ever meet. They are helpful in ensuring that your stay is top-notch, from providing bottled water in the room, to a kettle with tea bags, coffee... to solid recommendations on what to see and do in the area and where to eat.
The room was simply wonderful - everything was thoughtfully arranged, so comfortable. Soft sheets, nice comfy bed, fluffy towels (and even a face cloth, a rarity in European hotels).
Then there is the view to die for, high in the Swiss Alps overlooking Lake Geneva. In the evening, it was just heavenly to watch the city down below sparkling against the water. Breakfast was abundant, delicious, and served outside overlooking the gorgeous backdrop of the lake.
Highly recommended. You will feel as if you are at a friend's house, and will be treated like royalty.

It is seldom that the hosts are one of the great attractions in a extremely attractive areas. This is the case with Bibiane and René. They were with us during breakfast and often in the evening which we liked a lot as we had great conversation. They speak different languages wich makes a conversation easy.
This BnB offers very nice little rooms with all the comfort travelers need. Fortunately there is no television available. I say fortunately as if you look out of the window you see Vevey below you and over lake Geneva (the natives call it lac Léman) the Alps on the other side of the lake. We could spend our free time in the garden.
This is one of the most beautiful places in one of the best areas of Switzerland, the Lavaux which is a UNESCO World Heritage.
I can warmly recommend this place.

This was our first night after a long day on the plane. We were met by the owner at our car and even offered to help us with our bags. The room is spotless and large. Breakfast was delicious outside with a gorgeous view of the lake. Both the owners were friendly and made suggestions about our next day. They had restaurant suggestions ready and this was just what we needed after 20 hours in transit. I would stay here again without question!

The reviews below are all quite accurate. Comfortable BnB with the most SPECTACULAR VIEW one can imagine of the Swiss Riviera. Wonderful breakfast with 2 hosts that are so helpful. Wonderful, intelligent conversation if you like. Or left alone if that is your pleasure. The reviews do not convey the feeling we have had staying here for 3 nights. Indescribably DELICIOUS!!! AWESOME! FABULOUS! I guess we liked being here as is the case with all of the others. No TV, I stayed up and watched the lights of Montreauz and Vevey instead. Much better. Ed and Marilyn Cohen

My parents and I were lucky enough to stay with Rene and Bibiane for three nights in December. We had a fabulous stay. Rene and Bibiane are wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more helpful when we were faced with some car rental problems. The breakfast was delightful and the view magnificent. The two rooms with ensuites suited us perfectly. We even managed to get some snow. We could not have asked for nicer hosts or more picturesque scenery. We hope to come back at another time of the year to enjoy all the lake has to offer. Thank you very much Rene and Bibiane.
