Detailed Reviews
Stayed overnight on a bucket list trip to Australia Zoo with my elderly Dad. The room we stayed in was perfect to our needs and was very clean and comfortable with modern decor. The location is perfect for Zoo visitors and affordable; close to Beerwah and Landsborough for shops and restaurants if not partaking of the fare offered by the very friendly hosts.

We were delighted by the Family room we booked. 2 x king sized beds and a big single bed, a large screen TV, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery were all in the room. It was a very pleasant decor and very clean. There is a kids playground and pool within a short distance to the room and we could park directly in front of our room so we didn’t have to cart our luggage any distance. And the best thing for us was it is lowset so no stairs. Breakfast was unbelievably good. We didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day and there is dinner at night if you want or a bbq you can cook yourself. This stay for excellent value.

Great Location when visiting Australia Zoo and surrounds.
Clean and comfortable beds with Kitchenette.
We stayed as a family of 4 (3 & 5 year olds). The kids loved the playground area with a trampoline and use of the pool - this was a definite highlight and the reason we chose this place in the first place.
We also used the Gas BBQ near reception where Mick kindly let us use the tools needed incl salt oil etc...
The cooked meals looked amazing and well priced, friends had ordered dinner and said everything was delicious.
Linda and Mick were friendly and accommodating.

Nearest accommodation to Australia Zoo, convenient though, property is fairly ordinary outside, grounds could do with some attention and close to a busy road. However we were very surprised once inside.
Room was immaculate, had all of the facilities we needed, leaves some of the fancier properties behind, was spotlessly clean. Once window was closed we had no road noise, it has both large fan and aircon. There is quite a small pool but lovely for cooling off after a day at Australia Zoo.
Ordered dinner to room and was excellent.
Highly recommended !!

Thanks for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at our motel. Since purchasing the business our main focus has definitely been the rooms, ensuring they are of a high quality for the price. Our gardens and building exterior are certainly next on the list. Regards Beerwah Motor Lodge

Excellent motor lodge the owners were very friendly and helpful.
The accommodation was fab everything we needed for our couple of nights stay
Microwave, kettle, fridge, plates, cups, glasses, washing up bowl, sponge and washing up liquid, iron and ironing board, shampoo, conditioner , body wash enough towels for 3 people 2 queen size beds and a single bed which was enough room for me my husband and brother. A lovely touch is the bottle of milk in the fridge with free coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits. Little pool but enough to cool off but I didn’t use. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if I was in the area again. So close to Australia Zoo which was a bonus.

Excellent place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights as part of our 5 week trip.
Able to park our car outside our room which makes it so easy to load and unload the car.
Room was spacious and exceptionally clean and well equipped with microwave, kettle, and a fridge. Air conditioning and fan made it comfortable.
Bathroom spacious and shower was good.
We were able, for a few dollars, to do laundry on site which is a bonus on a 5 week trip.
We were not travelling with children but there is a small children’s play area.
There’s a small pool. We didn’t use it but it was very clean and well maintained.
For anyone visiting Australia Zoo you could not be any closer. Literally 5 mins down the road!
The owners were lovely and so helpful. If you are planning to visit the Zoo be sure to buy your tickets at reception for a discount.
We also ate locally at 2 of the places recommended by the owners and they were both good and not too expensive.

Very friendly and helpful host. Convenient location, just right next Australia zoo, few minutes drive to local shops (bar and cafes, liqueur store, IGA etc.), close by to hiking trail and sight seeing places. Beerwah Motor Lodge is fantastic, there are microwave and fridge in room, big bbq area with utensils supplied for the convenience of guests, playground and pool for a dip in the hot summer, they even have machine operated laundry room. Affordable and value for money. Highly recommended!

Our family of 3 adults and 1 child stayed at this lovely motel last weekend for 2 nights to attend Australia Zoo.
The rooms were lovely and everything was spotless. It has a great setup for kids with a pool and trampoline and climbing cubby with slides in a lovely garden setting. There was a free movie night on Saturday at 5.30pm with free popcorn and Slushy's available to buy. Our grandson loved it. The owners Mick and Linda and their family were friendly and very helpful. There are 2 BBQ's available for guests, which we used to cook B/fast. I would highly recommend this motel.

Wonderful little family owned business. Leonie and Ray instantly made you feel welcome and provided extra little touches in the room (e.g. the snack bowl with Easter goodies). Ray was always ready with a smile and a joke and this made out stay even more enjoyable. The room was very clean and comfortable and the leafy gardens added a lovely ambiance. The undercover BBQ area was a bonus as we could cook family meals even when raining. Our little ones loved the children's playground and had a ball in the pool! The location is ideal as its in a very pretty historical area with rolling green hills and is very close to the Zoo, the mountains and national park, and not far from other attractions, such as SEA Life and the beach. We really enjoyed our holiday there an would definitely stay again next time we visit the Sunshine Coast!

Overnight Stay April 2022
Stayed April 2022 in a room 8 with one Queen and a Single Bed for a party of three.
Clean and comfortable, beds were super comfortable and the shower /water pressure was hot. Kitchen items included small microwave, toaster and jug. Appreciated the Maleny (local) milk and water bottle for a hot cuppa. A set of three crockery was provided as well.
Only thing I would suggest is possibly some tissues as a addition in the future. Would definitely stay again if up the Sunny Coast. Thank you for your hospitality
