Stayed a single night at this establishment in one of their family rooms. Price was a little expensive (for what it was), but the room was clean, warm and came with all the facilities one would expect. Two important selling points for this motel. Firstly, the beach is a short walk away (down a private laneway); you can walk to the beach in bare feet. Secondly, we were able to park our motorcycles right outside the room. An important feature that I always like.

The room was was quiet, bright and very clean. It had everything you'd need. The beds were comfy and we liked the little laneway to the beach entrance which is cleverly disguised on the other side. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

We had a BIG mess up with the booking dates courtesy of Agoda and the hotel manager was truly helpful in fixing the problem which it all could have been much worse and we could have been out of pocket if they had not had assisted us. Good business practises that you don't find in many places. Thanks to staff. We also managed to have a great time whilst there for three days and loved the private beach access and comfy beds.

Great little motel with attention to detail. Appreciated the coffee machine in the room! Lovely and clean and walkway access to a beach little used except for locals is a big bonus. Rooms spacious and modern and owner happy to go the extra mile to make stay memorable.

John was incredibly helpful and friendly. Expected some traffic noise but was pleasantly surprised with how quiet the room and surrounds were. Very close to beach with a lovely walkway. Spotlessly clean. Would stay again definitely.

I travel all over QLD, NSW and VIC for work and stay in motels several nights a week: this was one of the nicest, well kept rooms I've stayed in.

The room was immaculate and modern, the beds were new and comfy, room was well sized for the price and the bathroom was clean and stylish. There was even a track to the beach right opposite the room. Of all the rooms I've stayed in for a similar price this was the best.

My family and I came here to stay one night on the way up the coast, got the shock of my life when I walked into reception for the key. Let's just say I had my one year old son in my arms as I walked in and got the shock of my life time when I saw the owner watching some "adult material" on his tv. The owner promptly turned it off and apologized for the incident, he offered us a free nights accommodation to keep quiet about it. That was all fine until we got to our room and got another shock when we put our bags into the cupboard. We found a used condom!! This was enough for one night and I quickly packed the family into the car and drove to the nearest hotel. This was a frightening experience and I would recommend that you think twice before taking your family to this hotel.

Response from polievka, Owner at Pacific Palms Motor Inn
Responded 2 Jan 2012
It is our commitment to provide the best value accommodation on the Sunshine Coast. We provide a family friendly environment. We also provide spotlessly clean units. This review does not reflect our property. It is impossible for such events to take place at Pacific Palms Motor Inn as the layout of our reception would not permit it (i.e. the Manager faces the reception door and cannot be surprised, and the computer screen faces away from any guests checking in). The reviewer has possibly reviewed against the wrong property. Due to the serious nature of the allegations against the Manager and the Cleaner I personally requested on the 7th December 2011 for the reviewer “Thekobebryant” to verify that they where a guest of Pacific Palms Motor Inn. The reviewer does not reply. Is this a real review? John Moore Proprietor

Very unimpressive room and not the best service. Tiny swimming pool. Could not connect to wifi, only units closest to the office get it. In my opinion way too much money for poor accommodation and service.

This motel is above average for a roadside motel and the owners who live on site are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, very well appointed, spotlessly clean and also have a lovely big bathroom with a vanity unit and large shower. There is also a small kitchen area with a microwave, although it was possible to order some meals from reception if we didn't feel like preparing our own. The local Surf Club is also within walking distance and provide good, inexpensive meals. Marcoola beach is just wonderful and only a couple of minutes walk away; Noosa and the other Sunshine Coast resorts are all only about 10-15 minutes drive away as also is access to the wonderful hinterland areas. A great motel in a great location without having to pay those great prices that usually go with all this. We loved it so much, we stayed for two weeks and there were guests at this motel who had been there even longer than us.
