Good value accommodation and meals and good location esp for families. There's a lot to do close by. The bathroom could have been cleaner and shower knobs and light over the sink were broken. The meals are decent and affordable. Bottle shop is close by.

We were heading to the Sunshine Coast for 1 night for a party. We wanted somewhere close to our friends at a good price. I have to admit, we weren’t expecting much. A hotel attached to a pub normally aren’t flash, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and compact, but more than suited our needs. There was some rust a live the shower, but it was less than I thought for the price. The staff were friendly & efficient. One night is fine, you wouldn’t go for a week. Or we would t anyway.

The room smelt damp, there are no flyscreens so opening the ‘balcony’ doors let in the mossies and cigarette smoke.
Tap was broken, ants in bathroom, terrible shower head, also had a previous guests towel hanging in the bathroom. No table to eat breakfast.
Although there were lots of long female hairs stuck in the blanket on the bed, the sheets felt clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
Overall a very dirty and unmaintained room. I wish I had of paid the extra $30+ to stay somewhere clean and decent.

We have been dining here weekly during January to take advantage of the very generous 50% off between 5 and 6pm offer. Each and every time we have found the staff to be exceptional, both friendly and efficient. Social distancing is taken seriously, as are the covid systems such as checkin. Last night we tried the steaks. They were cooked to our liking and served with fresh salad and piping hot chips. The mushroom sauce is wonderful! Also had garlic bread and it and our mains were lovely, top quality and cooked and served perfectly. We often tell friends that Currimundi Hotel meals are better than your usual pub food, and last night did not disappoint. We will definitely return soon!

We booked a table for 4, with a high chair and we even called up and confirmed it this morning. When we got there, there was a huge line up at the bar where we asked the girl about our booking. She said that she was really busy and didn't get a chance to save us a table and all the high chairs are taken... she told us to sit anywhere that is free... even though we booked hours in advance. We were then told by a customer to off and get in line because she thought we were cutting infront and she had been waiting for so long. The customers were angry, the staff were over worked and clearly understaffed which caused them to be very rude. We waited 40 minutes for a high chair until we gave up and drove home with a very cranky toddler and hungry parents!

Greeted by a really nice person (man) gave us a choice of seating and explained how to order. Ordering process was easy and girl was nice.
Now the food and the table runners, um terrible. Just terrible. The wait stuff were asked twice for cutlery and when they finally brought it to the table it was basically dropped down and huffed as they walked off. Really confused by what just happened?? I feel like we did something wrong🤔
I ordered the pork belly salad. (Pic) and it was horrible. The meat completely inedible. The salad was plain with no dressing?
My daughters ordered Mushroom burger and said it tasted like water and bread crumbs. My other daughter ordered nachos and bruschetta and both her and her boyfriend didn’t finish either. Both said horrible. Unfortunately we pay when we order so you can’t discuss your horrible meal and maybe offered a replacement or discount. all we could do was write a review and walk out. Literally started writing at the table and finished in the car on our way back to our hotel. Didn’t want to wait.

Most of the menu was unavailable when we arrived.
3 of the 8 meals had to be chased up as the order was misplaced. The steak sandwich I ordered was dry, the meat was thin like cardboard and could not be finished.
This is simply poor or careless management, the cook shouldn’t even have a job as the food was consistently appalling across our table.

The hardest bit is this is my local pub and I can certainly say I will not eat here again and advise strongly that others take heed.

This is probably one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.

I booked a family room online, being led to believe there is a difference in the size of the rooms due to the variance in cost. The room was $165.00 a night.

The room was small, cramped, and the sliding door would not close or lock. Being on the ground floor, this was a massive security and safety risk.

Another room eventually got sorted out for us upstairs.

The rooms are dated, filthy with hairs in the fridge, broken lights, broken tap handles, pillows like pancakes, and generally run down and in dire need of an overhaul.

The outdoor pool had leaves in it and looked dirty and uninviting.

There were some shady characters lurking around the property who looked like they weren't staying there.

Being next to the pub is handy, but the place is so shonky and dodgy that there are most likely other places more appealing in the area.

Well that went downhill. This has been our local for almost 20 years and we have eaten here many times. Not any more. After being away for 12 months, we went for dinner on the new year public holiday. The place was busy so when our jmeals were not up to standard we thought itvwas a one-off bad night. We went back last night had it was even worse. Waited in the bar for 10 minutes before a staff number arrived, then ordered food and drinks. I had a nice bowl of chips that took about 40 minutes to come out. Almost 20 minutes later my husbands food arrived: dry meat snd overcooked vegetables. While we were eating, another man came in and waited at the bar for 10 minutes to be served a beer. Clearly issues at the hotel. We wont be going back.
