We entertained friends who were visiting from Surrey. We went for Sunday lunch. As always the place was busy with a great atmosphere. The weather was so good that dining was available outside on the terrace. We ate inside. The service was impeccable and friendly. I ordered Moules Marinier with pan roasted Pollock and spinach all in that classic Moules...

I have stayed here for Business and Pleasure ,and every time it is a delight . Staff are wonderful , rooms a dream and Food exceptional . In the middle of nowhere , Phone signal is poor ( that's a nice result ) but Wi-Fi is free and good. Always a pleasure to return

The atmosphere , surroundings and staff were perfect in fact the meals were very good as we were quite a large group of all different ages and choose quite a varied array of starters , mains and desserts from the menu the only negative point was with one of the main dishes which was a traditional Beef Sunday Roast for...

Visited yesterday on the recommendation of friends, was expecting great things, especially when I saw the prices on the menu! I ordered Lamb with crushed garli potatoes and vegetables and a glass of Malbec. Just returned home from a truly wonderful stay at this gorgeous pub/ hotel ... I can not speak high enough of this very special place situated in a beautiful village surrounded by rolling countryside.. The food is first class, stunning presentation and very attentive staff. Beautifully cooked and presented. Our room was immaculate well worth 4/5 stars not 3 stars...

We went because we had seen a review in our Saturday paper.In our view he should have given it 5 stars not 4,although he raved about it which is why we booked.From the minute you arrive everything but everything is top class.The reception staff,indeed all the staff,are fantastic.Our room211,was fabulous with the best bathroom and shower.Just after check in fresh...

Have eaten here many times over the years but stayed here this weekend on a dinner bed and breakfast rate for my husband's birthday. The room was clean and comfortable, lovely bathroom. Dinner, steak and sea bass for mains. Passion fruit Arctic Roll and Pear Etonian mess, pear brioche and pear Mille feuille for desserts. Excellent.

cannot say enough good stuff about this fabulous place, go go go and visit you will love it !!!! From booking the room to checking out everything was tip top. The food is amazing , bedrooms luxurious and simply delightful , its just a real treat.

Visited on the recommendation of friends. Nice informal pub atmosphere. Food was excellent - really enjoyed chicken Kiev with chips and salad. Crazy nice desserts. We had chocolate selection. Service prompt. Would definitely visit again.
