We stayed during Christmas to have access to the slopes at Zakopane and for a chilled out Christmas. It took us about 40 minutes to drive to Zakopane from the house, Helen is a good host, very knowledgable and socialable. There is a very comfortable social space downstairs. The bedrooms are spacious and clean. We had a very relaxing and... More

We spent the first and the last night of our round trip at Raba 500. Helen welcomed us with a fantastic diner, late in the evening. We enjoyed staying in her huge house with much comfort. Helen gave us all informations and advices we needed. She is a friendly and humorous person with international ambitions. We felt there very well... More

When we arrived in Kraków Helen was there waiting at the airport to pick us up and take us straight back to the Raba 500. Throughout our 5 day stay Helen could not have been more helpful, making both me and my friend feel like members of the family and teaching us all about The Polish culture! The continental breakfast... More

After a very long, difficult year, this was the most perfect place we could've chosen to visit. Having never visited Poland before, and unsure what we should expect, we certainly were not let down. The country is stunning! We have been to Austria and Switzerland and Poland is equally as breath taking but without the extreme expense. Raba 500 is... More

We've just returned from an excellent few days staying at Raba 500. Nothing was too much trouble for English owner Helen, who had worked out a feature packed itinerary for the 4 days we spent there. Nothing was too much trouble - ferrying us around all the best places, organising entry into local and not so local attractions and cooking... More

We stayed at Raba 500 for ten days, two adults and two teenagers. Helen was a brilliant hostess, ever helpful with tips and useful advice on where to go. She cooked wonderful evening meals and really good vegetarian food. I'd also recommend visiting the lyre player who lives in a nearby manor house - a truly unique and enchanting evening.... More

Glad you enjoyed the holiday - we so enjoyed meeting you all. Sitting chatting with you on the balcony in the evenings was a pleasure. As I have said before, you don't need alcohol to enjoy a holiday in Poland! Come again! More

We had previously visited Raba 500 in the Winter and decided to spend 7 days in August. It exceeded our expectations by a country mile. It was the most relaxing holiday that we had ever had. Helen could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend her home cooked Polish meals. We had some concernss... More
