This is a pretty basic hotel in terms of the room quality and overall amenities. Our room was clean but small, and the bathroom fittings were quite old and shabby. The hotel is located in the old part of town up the hill from the beach. This is a much prettier and more interesting area to wander around in than...

Was welcomed by charming young lady who was very friendly & gave us directions around town as well as recommended restaurants. We only stayed one night, so was good value & good excercise! My husband and I stayed at Hotel Scilla April 4, 2013. My baggage had been lost and the daughter of the owners was able to help me contact the airport. She also helped contact our next hotel and make us reservations. The hotel room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated and modestly priced...

Newly renovated hotel. Lovely rooms ours was large and comfortable. We took a sea view room on the highest floor with balcony which did give a sea view but, as the hotel is on one of the higher levels of Scilla it was a long way to walk down into the town where most of the restaurants and bars are....

We stopped two nights during a holiday to Italy and Sicily. Family room hotel, very friendly reception. Fantastic large room with small balcony overlooking the sea. Nicely furnished and comfortable bed. Simple breakfast of breads, meats, cheeses etc. Scilly is a great stop off point before the ferry to Sicily with some nice bars and restaurants along the waterfront. Suited...

A pleasant location and very friendly owners. This is a small hotel, a lttle basic but excellent overall value. My wife left her handbag at one of the seaside pizza restaurants and the owners were extremely helpful in recovering it - with complete original contents of money and cards.

We stayed here on a recent visit to Bagnara to research our heritage. Meeemo and Fortunata were very kind, although spoke very limited English. They were kind enough to drop us off and pick us up after dinner as we were two female Americans and didn't want to be walking around alone. Breakfast was only a coffee and croissant, we...
