The resort has a great location for guests that want to be away from the center. It‘s lacated in a remote part of Phu Quoc (for how long?).
Great bungalows and service. Breakfast buffet has everything one can wish. The beds are just heavenly. Luxoriuos bath with two showers in-

Just got back from a wonderful 3 night stay at Green Bay. The report is beautiful and the pictures do not capture the beauty of the beach and grounds. We stayed in a beach villa, highly recommend this, and the first and bathroom was 5 star. Bed was vey comfortable and the servi

Hello Traveler 516847, Thank you for the lovely review. It sounds as if you had a great stay and the Team at Green Bay is very happy about this. We certainly understand and can relate to the global plastic problems that many countries are facing. Thank you for your great suggestions. In each bungalow, four complimentary fresh bottles of water are offered each day. In the mini bar, all guests have the option of purchasing large bottle of water and can use that bottle to refill at our refilling station that is located in the main restaurant. It may be possible that you were not aware of these options and we do apologize for this. The good news is that you care about the plastic problem that many face and it is through awareness that we can make changes, so thank you for that. Thank you for choosing Green Bay Resort for your holiday, we again are happy you had a great stay here. Please have happy and safe travels and do come back and visit us again! Thank you, The Team at Green Bay Resort

Hi Stephan, the Team at Green Bay Resort appreciates you taking the time to post such a great review. We are thrilled that you loved Green Bay. We enjoyed getting to know you and look forward to your next visit. It is sad that you left with the impression that Phu Quoc Island is a 'trash can' and has lost its natural and wonderous beauty. You are correct, there is a lot of building, construction on the island as of late because it has been discovered as a gem hidden in the Gulf of Thailand. However, as you might know the 'garbage' problems exist in most third world nations as locals and even tourist sometimes are not educated or aware of the environmental impact. Having said that, Phu Quoc, a fairly recently discovered gem to tourism has attracted many investors who see the island for the natural magic it exudes. With multi millions of dollars being spent to build luxury resorts both large and small I can only imagine the garbage problem that exists pretty much on the highways will or is being addressed. Phu Quoc has been mainly sustained itself for centuries on fishing and agriculture, tourism is fairly new here. As a local who lives on the island, I see weekly, there are changes underway to address the issue that like I mentioned is mostly along the highways. The Team at Green Bay again thanks you for recognizing our efforts towards a safe, eco friendly and clean environment. We all wish you safe and happy travels! Kimberly - Guest Relations Manager

I’m thinking of staying here for 5 nights at the end of our trip to completely chill out. My other option is Richis resort in town. How easy is it to get into town from Green Bay and does the hotel offer a shuttle / car at all?
Its not super easy to get in to town from green bay resort. The hotel prefer if you ask them to book a taxi with a days notice. (When going in the evening for dinner for example) but getting home is much easier because every taxi driver Will want to drive you😂 The car ride from green bay into town Will take around 30-40 minutes. Other than that its a nice place to relax. I think they offer a shuttle bus leaving the resort like 10 in the morning and back at 17:00 but the town is quite boring during the day actually. Ps. The beds are really hard and the pillows like bricks and they have no other pillow options. Hope this have been to any help!

Hi, I'm thinking of staying here in the next week when I'm on the island. I see that is a little more remote than some other places and so would most Likely eat in the restaurant. I was just wondering how much, roughly, food and drink is there. Ie meals and beer /wine? Many thanks, Chris
Yes, it is remote but you can spend the whole time in the property (of course depending on how many days you are staying there), breakfast is buffet with a lot of options and different stations to choose from (eggs by order, fruits, cheeses, pastries, etc), for lunch and dinner they have a la carte menu with beers, wines and cocktails on the drinking side as well as large enough section for appetizers and main courses (pasta, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, local cuisine) and desserts; again, the key is how many days you are spending there, I would think after 3-4 days you will probably want to go to eat outside and try something different...

"There is building work happening at the resort at the moment, but I think it will make it all worth it in the end."
"I had a green bungalow, it was perfect"
"The cheapest rooms share a wall with another room...and you can hear them."
"Choose a room with a good view. Lots of the rooms with garden view don't actually have a garden view!"
"They are all perfect. With sea-view is of course a little nice extra."
