My family and I arrived here on our first day in Costa Rica. The rooms were not ready when we arrived because it was only 7am, but we were so tired and drained. The staff did everything in their power to make us comfortable and happy. They let our jet lagged minds take naps outside by the pool and fed...

We stayed here on the recommendation of another hotelier in Costa Rica and it was great. Inexpensive yet charming, with friendly helpful staff. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The hotel has far more character than some chain. It's about 25 minutes from the airport, in a suburb called Santa Ana, and far superior to any of the options...

My wife and I stay here each time we visit San Jose because it's always super clean with great energy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The views are breathtaking, with incredible sunsets. There is a chess board in the massive community lounge with a fireplace and books for exchange. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The building is quaint, very clean, and on a beautiful, private property. The best part of the stay was the staff; they are unbelievably helpful and friendly. It was like staying with family without annoying relatives.
After the first day, my coffee was ready when I came down at 6:00 am even though that is earlier that the breakfast hours....

The hotel was quaint and nice. Staff were very friendly and spoke English well. The pool was a bit cool, but nice in the sun. A few stupid guests tried to reserve chairs by the pool, but it wasn't overly busy. Breakfast was toast and some fruit. My room was spacious and comfortable. Shower was nice and warm. Everything was...

We stayed at the hotel for one night before we went home. It was a very positive experience and we got great value for money. Pleasant and helpful staff but the breakfast could have been better. Was hard to find some place to eat dinner nearby (we did not). Will definitely stay here again if we get the reason.

The hotel environment is warm and relax with nice decoration. The backyard is the mountainous area with the spectacular sunset scenery. You can enjoy birdwatching over there especially the woodpeckers. The room is clean. Services are excellent. I'm impressed with ELIZABETH MORA, a beautiful talented young woman, who is very helpful, cheerful , always available and never stop working. She...

We are more than glad that you had a pleasant stay, we are glad that you could enjoy the venue and appreciated our decoration, our decorations consist in Asian antics on wood from Bali, well thought without missing the tropical and local concept. If you want a warm and authentic Costa Rican hotel you won't find better than this. It is not an American style hotel thank goodness but if that's what you want go elsewhere, they are ubiquitous.
