The house is easy to find (50 m on the right after Little Plum coffee), and the owner who does not speak English is really nice. Big room with a view on the garden , very quiet and very clean . Toilets shared but as...More
We had a fine stay. Yukiko San is a very kind and devoted host. She does good, healthy home cooking. The house is quite old and haven't been much renovated recently. So, it can feel a bit chilly in the cold season if you're not...More

Hey..the owner does speak very limited English. I had a friends wife who is Japanese make the call for me. Maybe try calling and have google translate available to help. As far as getting around, yes there are busses available, and you could walk. Personally I'd suggest bike riding. There are lots of rental places in the port town and you can get either a traditional bike, or electric assisted bike. Bike riding allows for a ton more flexibility when you're checking the island out...have fun!
