Stayed here for two nights in girls-only dormitory. It's OK for a night. The building is an old pub, and the lounge area is a converted bar. It stinks of cigarettes (especially when someone is smoking). The kitchen has enough equipment but is not particularly inviting to cook a meal in. There was only 1 shower for the whole hostel....

Note that the name is misspelled in trip advisor, it's "dormitory in Kowloon". It's probably the cheapest option to stay in Naoshima. Dormitory are very clean, owner is friendly and speak fluent english. There is a large commun area, nice place to meet other travellers. There is only a single shower, but it was ok. Location, near the pier, is...

This place is cheap but fucilities are ok. Custemer isn't allowed to go out midnight tough, they have a place to drink alcohol all the night. Anyway there's no place to visit midnight in Naoshima. That is also good to meet other travelers. Owner guy is a huge, looks wild but He is kind and nice. I recommend this place...

It´s hard to find a cheap place in the hidden island of Naoshima. To play less than ¥3500, call in advance and make a reservation. Otherwise, it´s going be like an emergency price. This is a guesthouse with some dormrooms. Clean, good location. The reception is not open all day long but you can get in and leave your lugagge...
