We stayed here for one night during the Setouchi Triennale summer session. The location is perfect - we got off the morning ferry, stored our bags, and explored nearby Honmura before returning to Miyanoura to check into Minatoya. We were well placed to go on a night wander to view all the outdoor art all lit up. It was great.... More

The owner was a kind man who was helpful in getting is settled and even drove us to the other side of the island (10 minutes!). I really liked him and the location of the inn, and wish I could give a glowing report. But unfortunately the place was pretty grubby. The bathtub and shower was grungy, and the rooms... More

We booked this place for two nights. Our Japanese friend rang to make our booking as no English is spoken. We arrived on the morning ferry and there was no one there but we thought ok we will come back after visiting some of the art. When we arrived back there was still no one there and they did not...
