How would you like dipping inside a hot spring spa while looking out at the ocean? The hotel is right next to the beach, so you can look out the window into the ocean. It has a spa at level 1 and another one at level 2, alternating for male and female, so you need to go in the morning...

Stay one night in a Japanese western style room with two beds and one futon, all are comfortable. Room is large, clean with a big bathroom. our room facing the beautiful beach, very nice view. Front desk speaks very little English but they are polite. We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay, they are nice but not outstanding....

Hotel located right on the beach. It's quite enjoyable to sit in the open onsen on 2nd floor because you can see the nice ocean view. The room is small. Staff can only speak little English. If you want to take the free shuttle bus to Shirshama Station when you leave, you need to book it when check in the...

Stayed for 1 night in a Japanese styled room with a beach view. The room was clean and convenient and the view was lovely. The hotel is located directly on the beach and has a outdoor pool for those who prefer that. The hotels Onsen (public bath) was big and beautiful and had a beautiful view over the ocean and...

The Shiraraso Grand was probably the grand dame of Shirahama beach, with its outdoor hot spring bath located almost on the beach itself. You risk exposing yourself to beach goers if you do not keep below the water line past a certain point. Food is excellent, and service is really good. However, as with most old-style hotels in Japan, little...

We stay here to celebrate our anniversary and take hotel package with dinner: Kumano beef course. The food is great, kumano beef texture is melting in mouth and the seafood are fresh. They have private family bath (2 hour with fee around 1.200 yen, better book in advance) and the onsen facility (there is outdoor onsen that facing the shirahama...

I travelled with my husband and two small kids (2 years and 4 years old). The room rate was about US$200, but I need to pay extra charge for my kids, US$40 each. Hence, total charged US$260/night (no meal included). But the room was very very small. I accepted such size if staying in Tokyo downtown. Definitely not in onsen...

This hotel has a perfect location on the beach, close to restaurants and a grocerie store open 24h. The outdoor pool is nice but not heated, the onsen is very nice. We had Breakfast included which was nice, but first two mornings were traditional japaneese and the third morning it was more western. Our children did not enjoy the food...

The room is in traditional Japanese-style with a tatami area, it is clean and huge. Our room can enjoy the sea view and seashore from Shirahama beach. The onsen is good. Especially the one at the 2nd floor outdoor, we can enjoy onsen with sea view. The staff was very nice and helpful. Because when we check in, they saw...
