Part of a chain of solid accommodations always located in or adjacent to Japanese national parks. Reasonable prices, great staff, nice baths. Don't miss Benten Onsen right across the street--Meiji or Taisho era--and nothing's been done to it since then! A couple of bus stops from Kita Yu and Shika no Yu, two other really old-school amazing gen sen kakenagashi...

I only see bathtubload of Japanese reviews, so here goes. About the hotel: Room is cool and spacious. You can line up futon enough for 8 or maybe even 10 person to comfortably sleep in the 12 tatami room. They have every amenities you expect from a 3+ star business hotels. My room LACKED bathroom, so I have to use...
